A Stupid fight
Ace
-----------
It has been a while since we've been here, A month maybe? We've been helping out a lot, with the kitchen, with picking up some supplies, or with anything really.
It has been a month after we escaped from the Asylum, it has been a whole solid four months of me not using my voice. I am really anxious about using it now because it will sound so different and I'll have to get used to talking again, but not now.
And between that one month, Melody taught me how to do sign language along with all my friends.
Melody had an amazing voice when she spoke, but the only thing that really gets me is that she can't hear us. They did try giving her some hearing aids but she refused and told them she didn't feel comfortable in them,so they studied sign language for her.I stayed inside for the rest of the day, Axel and Gabe had been with Nishi and Taiyo ever since they picked up their first package.
Amber was always with Wendy who she helped improve her cooking, and I on the other hand was with Gunther and Melody with sorting out weapons and that sort. I opened the phone Wilson was nice enough to give me, and he also gave Axel and the others. He said it would come in handy if we needed any help if we were outside and back up will come immediately.
I didn't use my phone that much, other than taking pictures of beautiful sceneries.
Gabe did the same, but she took pictures of the setting vibe of the sky and when dawn struck.
I stood up from the bed Melody and I shared, I opened the door, walked out then closed it tightly.
Outside was dark, yet it was still morning. I walked through the hall, walking down the stairs and I bumped into Melody on my way down. 'Oh Melody!' I signed, then gulped. 'I was just about to look for you..' I paused for a moment which made her look at me with those blue bolt colored eyes.'Is there a problem, Ace?' She signed back, her eyes with concern and worry. 'You seem distracted, care to talk about it?' I wanted to talk to her so badly, but she wouldn't hear me no matter how loud I am... no matter how much I scream, she will never hear me. And it hurts just thinking of it. 'Oh, it's nothing. Can we go for a walk instead?' She seemed to take the hint and nodded, her eyes full of worry but I assured her I was fine.
We both walked down the stairs, bumping into Vivian who asked us where we were off to, and I pointed the door and outside. She nodded, telling us to be back before dawn because of a few people lurking in the forest at night, some maybe harmless but some aren't.
We nodded, understanding her concern before me and Melody walked out of the house.Outside was a bit gloomy, but no sign was shown that it would rain. I took in a big inhale of fresh air, I looked at Melody who seemed to be admiring the scenery in front of her before she grabbed my hand, Pulling me slowly and carefully in between those trees. I just let her drag me to who knows where as I admired every single scenery that we passed, until she stopped and I couldn't stop right away so I bumped into her.
She turned to me, her eyes apologetic so I brushed it off with a smile signing to her it was fine.
She moved away from my view to show me a beautiful scene, a pond glistened because of the sun that shined on it. And last time I checked, it was still gloomy. A few flowers were around the pond like a meadow, and butterflies fluttered in the wind. How can such a place be here?I tapped Melody by the shoulder, she turned to me with a smile and I swore she looked like an angel for a moment there, like she was not messed up in the head. Like she was just... normal.
I shook my head, my face heated. I began to sign, with my shaky hand. 'How did you come to know this place?'
She softly giggled, her voice really was mesmerizing... she then sat down slowly on the grass then she patted the space next to her, telling me to sit down. I slowly sat down, watching her. She then parted her lips, ready to speak. "I came here when I felt like no one wanted me, ever since then I came here to relax. You seemed distracted so I brought you here." Her voice was hypnotizing, I really liked it. I wanted to speak to her, but she wouldn't even hear me at all...
That crushed my dreams.
