A peaceful walk

Wilson
-----------
Amber had been pushing through me and Gunther while Nishi had been operating on Ace, Gabe, and Minami. Ace had two bullets stuck in her upper torso, no vital organs shot.
Gabe also had a bullet stuck in her left arm, and her head was bleeding.
Minami had it worst, she had many bullet holes but one got stuck inside her, in her right tight.
Taiyo wasn't that fazed, he let Minami take over so he wasn't that badly injured.
I was concerned, my wards went in there and the man still chose to shoot his blasted guns. I growled under my breath, it wasn't just a random thing, someone is ruining what peaceful nature we have right now.
Someone is out there, trying to destroy our peace. I gulped, swallowing hard. The bags under my eyes were enough evidence that I've not have enough sleep, and that I was thinking too much again.
I walked to the couch, two of my wards had been injured. I can't just sit here and think! It already happened and I can just hope it doesn't happen again. It's traumatizing for me to even think about my wards--I mean My family get hurt like that, I care about them and seeing them like this weakens me.

After helping Nishi clear the blood and pull those damn bullets out, I went out to let Nishi take over.
When I got out after I took off my surgical mask, gloves and lab gown I met up with a very hysterical Axel who was about to lose it. He yelled, but Mark and Gunther held him back. He had tears in his eyes, His body shook like he was freezing.

"I NEED TO SEE THEM, PLEASE! THEY NEED ME. I-I NEED THEM... THEY'RE OKAY RIGHT!?" He yelled which made me sigh, I approached them and held Axel by the shoulder. "Let's go for a walk?" I offered in which he accepted with a few hesitant glances at the door I just came out of.
He walked beside me still shaking, we made it out when his shoulders began to relax. His face still unsure if he should have left or not.

"Pleasant day isn't it?" I said, my eyes closed as I breathed in some air.

"C-Can I go back now? I-I want to see how they are... How--" I placed a finger in front of my mouth to quiet him down, and he did. I then held his shoulders again before beginning to walk, Whilst admiring the scenery.

"You know we have had similar things happen to us, just in a different setting." I pushed him gently as I walked, soothing him lightly.
"It was my fault, I didn't move away and Wilson took the bullet for me. He was sent to the hospital for a month because Nishi wasn't our medical expert before. I blamed myself, but that's what friends are for. They take a bullet for you even if they get killed by doing so." I saw him look at me while I kept pushing.
"I think Minami cared more than she should have, but I am not saying she shouldn't have done it. It's just that, Ace and Gabe are new, she shouldn't care that much, She shouldn't get attached. That's the rule she made to keep her heart and head in the right place." I closed my eyes as I halted to a stop and stopping Axel with me.
I smiled, a kind one.

"One day you'll know why she placed that barrier around her. One day you'll know why she did what she did, but its her story to tell." I looked around and saw that we had ended up between a meadow, it was peaceful here... a kind that didn't really show any violence.
I ushered Axel to sit down as I did, then I laid down and Axel just sat there his legs crossed. I closed my eyes, breathing in softly before I opened one to look at Axel who seemed relaxed. He then decided to lay down next to me, I heard him sigh out loud. "Why did the people do that to them? They did nothing wrong, right?" Axel had asked.

"No, they did not. Those people used to be on our side, it's really nerve wracking to experience what they did." I told him matter of factly, my feelings all mixed because of what had happened, but I was glad I calmed Axel just a bit now. I turned to my side to face him, and he did the same. His face was a bit pink, but I laughed it off and he laughed with me. "I'm so glad I have entertained you enough to calm you down, but we have to get back. I'm sure your friends are okay now." I began to sat up, but he took another solid minute before he did too. "I feel tingly inside." He admitted before he stood up, he extended a hand for me and I took it. I wouldn't admit it, but I did too... I also felt the conmection.
