Y/N POV

I took a step outside and closed the door to my home behind me as the cool breeze brushed upon my face. I felt my body moving through the air as I was walking over to my bus stop (you saw what I did there 😉). There I saw the one and only... Jared Kleinman. "Hey Y/N! How was summer vacation? You didn't answer any of my calls..", Jared said as his smile turned into a frown. "Sorry I had worked full-time for most of the summer vacation, so I barely got to do anything", you told Jared. "I understand.. but anyways on the bright side, I got to work part-time at LUSH during the beginning of the vacation and the Bath bombs were-", Jared was cut off by the sight of Connor Murphy. Yeah.., I've had a slight crush on him since the 7th grade but I guess he's just a guy that I'd kinda be into. "Hey Y/N", Connor called out as he waved at you. "Hey Con", you waved back with a smile, you felt your face heating up. You turned to Jared, "So when did you start talking to that freak?", Jared asked with a confused look on his face.

Jared's POV

"So when did you start talking to that freak", I asked Y/N. I felt Y/N's hand slap me on my face, "Ouch..," I said as I fixed the glasses on my face. I saw Y/N walk over to Connor as she gave me a glare.

Y/N's POV

"Sorry about what Jared said over there.. It's not true- None of it's true. You're n-not a freak or weirdo. If anyone's a weirdo I-It's me..", I said to Connor. "I guess we'll be weirdos together", Connor said looking into my eyes as he put his hand on my shoulder. "Get a room you two!", Jared called out. Connor and I both rolled our eyes.

You looked over to Connor "Ready for the first day of Senior year?", Connor asked you. "Ready as I'll ever be.." you replied. "Let our journey begin!", Connor said as he held your hand. You both walked onto the bus.
