I tried so hard,
And got so far..
But in the end,
It doesn't even matter

Evelyn's P.O.V
The address of the tea shop Brooklyn sent me wasn't that far, it took me 13 minutes to get there. When I entered the shop, I spotted Brooklyn sitting at a table near the entrance, I walked over and sat down.
"Blueberry, strawberry, cherry or grape?" She asked, moving her drown hair out of her face, she kinda looked like a princess, with bright greens eyes and long flowing brown hair, along with perfect eyebrows. "Uhhh Blueberry??" I guessed, she got up and walked to the front counter, returning with two bottles, one red and the other blue, she handed the blue one to me and sat down.
"What are those?" I asked, looking at the little spheres inside the drink, "drink it" she insisted, "it's really good" I did, and as she said, it was amazing.

When I was halfway to the bottom of my drink, I got up, "come on! I wanna visit the coastline!" She got up quickly and we both headed out the front door.
Once we got there, it wasn't that badly packed, which was weird, since it's always so crowded.
We finished our drinks not long after, and walked near the ocean, Brooklyn was collecting seashells like a 5-year-old, squealing whenever she found a nice one.
"Last time I checked, your 13, not 5" I teased,
"Yeah? Well, everyone's young for something, and for me, that's seashells" she huffed. I laughed, i looked at the ocean, there where a couple of people surfing, and not gonna lie, they looked pretty good at it too. "LOOK OUT!" I was suddenly on my back sprawled out on the floor like a pancake, there was a girl lying next to me who jumped back on her feet in an instant, she looked like a surfer. "You okay?" She asked, handing me her hand, I gladly took it and nodded, "well that was fun" I looked behind her to see a girl with light-chocolate-ish skin and hip length raven colored hair, along with hazel eyes.
"Really Rose? So running people over with surfboards while riding a wave is 'fun'?" The surfer girl told her.
Brooklyn came up from behind me, "hey aren't you Nya? You won't that surfing competition last month right? Wasn't it.. 'Surfer' of the year..?" She nodded, "I'm Nya, sorry for not dying that earlier, and this is Rose" she said, mentioning to the girl behind her.
"I'm Evelyn, you can call me Eve, and this is Brooklyn" Brooklyn waved shyly.

"You guys wanna get something to eat? For some reason being in water makes me hungry" Rose said, she then handed the surfboard to Nya who gladly took it. Brooklyn and I nodded, Rose looked at Nya for confirmation, "I need to put my surfboard away first, text me when you find a decent place?" Brooklyn handed her phone to her and she typed in her number. "Okay, we'll see you soon! N" Rose called after her. "By the way" I said, getting Rose's attention, "how did you and Nya meet?" Rose chuckled, as if I told her a joke. "We sort of crashed" she said.
"Wait what-" Said a very confused Brooklyn, "like car crash Orr..?" Rose laughed and I couldn't help but chuckle, "wave crash" she said
