Chasity
Monday Morning" You know Dr., actually you don't even deserve the title of a doctor so let me correct myself and address you as sir, I lost my mother to cancer and to know that you are using a billion dollar industry to scam people not only out of there money but their health is disgusting. I hearby grant you life in prison with no parole. Get this sorry excuse out of my court room!" A black judge spoke in disgust.
He began to cry hysterically alongside his lawyer who showed no sympathy and you could hear his family crying as well. Karma is a bitch and I don't pity any of them. The courtroom cops had to drag him out because he wouldn't budge.
"The defendant Chasity Walker will be rewarded the amount of 500,000 dollars and the establishment is set to be closed permanently. The five other victims who have undergone treatment will also receive a pay out of 736,000 each (gavel bangs) That is all. Court dismissed."
My palms were sweaty and I cried my ass off in my mothers arms.
" Baby you did it. You helped all those people" She rubbed my back.
" Thank you so much you don't know how much you saved my mothers life before it was taken. She couldn't be here today because she isn't feeling well but I know this will give her the mental strength she needs and this money will help us guide her back to her previous health. God bless you and thank you so much for being brave." She hugged on to me tight. I nodded embracing her.
The victims were rushed by loads of camera men and women. I decided to wait a while for it to die down so I could exit court. I was truly fearful of my face being shown on anyones television because once the hood find out you got a come up they turn into full blown savages. This was my biggest worry. Winning and someone coming to take it all away or worse - my life in the process. I don't plan to boast any money or flashy materialistic things on social media period. I'm blessed to work in Saks though because nobody will have a clue knowing I'm already about my money.
" Let's go celebrate with the girls ma" I smiled hard.
" Let's go baby. I'm so proud of you. What do you have up your sleeve next?" She smirked.
" College definitely maybe even open a business." I smiled holding her hand exiting the building.
Jah
" Yo I'm mad we really up early for a damn brunch" I shook my head after agreeing to go to brunch with these fools when Trent suggested it in the group chat last night.
" Deadass" Nav sucked his teeth.
"Y'all niggas can't go nowhere fancy and be happy can y'all?"
" Shit you should've took us to happy hour then fuck is this white ass spot?"
" Listen I told Renae I missed my niggas she suggested it and I thought it would be cool since we grown ass men and don't always have to link up at a trap or club" Trent shrugged
" How my niece?" Saint spoke smiling
" She good, greedy as hell tho" He laughed
" How my niece?" He laughed a bit
" Shit Nova getting big on a nigga. I'm still getting use to Logan but she a happy baby so that's wassup." He smiled pulling out a picture of them and showing Trent.
" That's wassup man glad you and Ambrosine getting along"
"So when you two ugly niggas shooting up the club?"
