Saint Josiah
It felt good to fall asleep next to someone when it was intentional. Usually I'm accidentally dozing off after pussy and find myself laid up with a sneaky link. If I'm being honest, I wish I knew Ambrosine a little better before inviting her out here. I saw a pretty face and lost all sense. I got a lot of work to do but I'm happy to pay for her to enjoy herself.
I wanted to know where she came from, what made her smile, what made her sad, her goals and anything else she was willing to tell me. I know that if I get next to her and make her mine, her father is gonna be sick. From the looks of her face the other weekend, he didn't give a fuck about her and that's cool because I'm ready for her to call me daddy instead.
We got in my car and headed towards the airport and that's when I began to ask some of the shit that's been on my mind.
" So what you been up to this summer?" I began the conversation.
"Nothing much."
" So you mean to tell me that it's almost the middle of summer and you didn't do anything?" I eyed her.
" Nah I had a lot going on.." I could tell something was bothering her.
"I understand." I nodded
" I'm just trying to figure you and your story out before we switch states."
" Understandable. Well ask away I guess."
" How old are you?"
"20"
" Oh wow you're young."
" How old are you?"
" 24"
" When you turn 21?" I added
" November 27th." She laughed a little.
" Whats funny?"
" You're not that old."
" Yeah well I can buy alcohol." I joked
" Yea yea whatever." She chuckled.
" How's your hand?" I asked.
" I'm okay." She nodded.
" You see him since?"
" Nah."
" Good. I think you should stay away for good."
" I finally learned my lesson. There's no returning."
" Wait he did that shit more than once?" I knew he did. The streets talk.
" ... Can we not bring my mood down. Why are we even talking about this?"
" Shit my bad I just wanted to learn more about you. I wish I could see my daughter then you got niggas like him who don't appreciate what they have.." I shook my head thinking of Nova.
" Why can't you see her?"
" Her moms be tripping..." That's all she had to know for now.
"Oh well I'm sorry to hear"
"...Yeah... You ever been to Miami though?"
" Nah I haven't."
" How you got a drug dealer in your life and never been to Miami?" I laughed.
" I practically raised myself... he wasn't taking me nowhere"
" He lucky I ain't know you back then. I would've made you my girl and kidnapped you"
" Okay tough guy" She laughed.
" Trust me you ain't seen tough."
" Oh really?" She eyed me.
