Chapter 3: We Meet Again

Summer's POV

4 weeks later

I walked down the hallway with my book secured in my arms. Everyone was looking at me, some were surprise,some were just plain,staring. I don't know why they are being like this, is it because I nearly died or I haven't been in school for so long. School is so foreign to me now as I stayed in the hospital for I don't know how long. 

Uh..Whatever..

I walked to my first class, Maths. Uh, Maths again. I thought with a frown. Then, my face came in contact with something hard or what I would think, a person, living human being's chest. Duh of course it is alive, Summer, your brain might have been fried for staying in the hospital for so long. My mind says. Why do I speak with my mind, I actually don't know. "I am so sorry." I began to walk backwards but "It's alright." a voice came from the person standing in front of me. That sound is so familiar. I looked up and saw a familiar face, gorgeous blue eyes and those golden hair. 

Dan... Daniel Moore 

"Summer!" Dan says, shocked. "It's been awhile Daniel. You never visit me huh?" I said with a question face. "I-" I slapped him in the face before he could continued. I don't know why I did that but I was just upset. You know if your boyfriend -no I mean now EX-boyrfriend, never visit went you're in hospital, that means he sucks. But he still looked as hot as he was 2 years ago, well-built body with six pack abs that can be seen through his shirt. His strong hand covered the bruise I caused on his cheek.

Whatever, he is non of concern anymore ... I don't regret what I did...  He deserves it...

Everyone was staring at us. Daniel was shocked. "Oh I am so sorry. You know what my hand just slipped." I said sarcasticly with a fake smile. "Nice to see you again. Danny or should I say Dan. If you can stepped aside now so I can enter to room, that will be so nice of you." I continued.

He stepped aside and I walked into the room with boys or girls shocked to see me again. I mean they thought I was dead or missing as I was not in school for so long. "Summer!! I miss you so much!!!!" screamed a high girly voice at the back of the room. That is my best friend before I went 'missing'. She is Krystal Watts , tall and beautiful. "I miss you too Krys!! How have you been?" I asked, hugging her.

It's been awhile since I talked to a friend. "Not good... since you were gone everything is different. Without the popular Summer Leigh, it feels like something is missing you know Summy." she says with tears running down her cheeks."I am back see. Nothing happened." I pointed at my body. We talked and laughed until the bell rang.

Mr Annoying (not his real name, just a nicknamt) is here to teach us Maths. Don't get me wrong, I do like Maths but sometimes it gets really annoying. "Have a sit class, we are looking at Calcalus today. So turn your book to Page 107...." said Mr Annoying. Everyone went back to their sits and the only empty sit is beside Daniel Moore.

Great. Now I have to sit through this class with that guy beside me. Fantastic.

Dan's POV

A few weeks ago, I got a text from Kane saying Summer is back. At first, I got shivers and goosebumps but I just shrugged it off. I don't think she would be in my school. Not in the class anyway, she didn't come back to school for what, 1 year or 2. 

I don't care anymore....

I was in class with my girlfriend who was just casually sitting on my lap while I was texting Kane, texting about what to do with Summer. She tried to kiss me but I just refuse with a  "Not today babe. Not in the mood..." She frowned and stomped out of the room. 

This girl is so annoying sometimes. Not in the mood..

I stood up and walked towards to door, was about to meet Kane to talk which is easier than texting. When I reached the door, someone collided into my chest very hard like a book. Ouch.. That freaking hurts. I looked down and saw a short but beautiful figure stading in front of me. 

Blond hair like Summer... I should stop thinking about her...

"I am so sorry." the person squeked and "It's alright." I replied. She looked up to meet my eyes. Holy sh*t Summer. "Summer!" I said, shocked. This is going to be a disaster, she is going to haunt me. "It's been awhile Daniel. You never visit me huh?" she asked with a question face. I was so shocked that she is infront of me. "I-" I tried replying but I earned a slap in the face instead.

What the hell do you want, Summer

My hand hold onto my sore cheek, looking shocked. I have never been slapped in the face, girls throw themselves to me even the past Summer. I am a popular guy, getting slapped is damaging my reputation and worse by Summer, the former queen bee. "Oh I am so sorry. You know what my hand just slipped." She said with a smile. I know that smile is fake and it is not an accident but on purpose. 

"Nice to see you again. Danny or should I say Dan. If you can stepped aside now so I can enter the room, that will be so nice of you."she said with another one of those fake smile. I stepped aside and let her pass. I looked at her, she still looks as pretty as ever.

I should have stop my father... I know I should have... I will save you if I could.....

I am sorry Summer... Please believe me again....

Sorry I haven't been updating as I was so into some other books but hope you all like this chapter and my friend will write the next chapter :D
