11- The Date

Shawn smashed his lips to mine. I was too shock to move. What would Cameron think about this, after all Cameron is my crush and I would die if he asked me out? But when Shawn kiss me, I felt like it was right. I didn’t feel any tingles or electricity like they say in books. It just felt right. Actually it was pretty amazing. I kissed back tenderly. He held one hand at the back of my neck and the other on my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushing him closer so I can catch every moment of this. He was a very good kisser, and he is a hot best friend.

He pulled away for one second so we could catch a breath and he went in for round two. God this was heaven. His lips were so soft but rough, I pushed him even more closely. After several seconds he pulled back. We were both breathing heavy.

“I’m sorry, I should have done that.” He said looking afraid of what I might say to him.

“Wow… that was… amazing” I looked in his eyes and saw them go wide.

“Really?”

“Yeah”

“Well um, I have to tell you something.” He said to me smiling nervously.

“Yeah what is it?”

“Well… for four years… I have… hadacrushonyou” he said the last bit really fast, but I heard him.

“Really?”

“Yeah. Rhiannon. I’m in love with you.” I was so happy right now and I don’t know why. I’ve had a crush on Cameron, always on Cameron. But I can feel it that I have something for Shawn. I think I love him.

“I… think I do too” I said trying not to stutter.

“You think?” he frowned a little.

“I… I love you Shawn.” He gasped, “I love you too” he leaned and kissed me again. Are we dating or what? I still had a crush on Cameron but I think I love Shawn. But I definitely know I still have something for the both of them.

“Do you want to go on a date tonight?” he asked me, holding onto my hands.

“Yeah, sure.” I said smiling to him.

“Sweet. Well I suppose we should go to school.” He held his hands and I grabbed them as he pulled me up.

“Have you had breakfast?” he asked me.

“Yeah,”

“Okay, let’s go” and we walked out of the apartment and went in his car.

We drove to school in an empty space in the car park and everyone was staring at us. I don’t know why, we aren’t popular or anything, I wonder what’s going on.

“Why is everyone staring at us?” I asked Shawn as we got out of the car and starting walking.

“I don’t know.”

We walked inside the door and everyone was still looking at us. What haven’t they seen two people going out? The thing is, we aren’t going out, I don’t know what we are.

“Hey, I need to go do something. Will you be right walking to your first class?” he turned around and asked me.

“Umm yeah. I just need to get something from my locker.”

“Okay. Well we have first period together, so I will see you then.”

“Okay” he leaned down and kissed me on the cheek. Then we walked off. That kiss felt so right and comfortable. And I wonder where he is going. I turned and saw Cameron standing there. He looked really hurt ad a little bit angry. I wonder what happened.
