25- Happy Birthday!!

[RHIANNON'S P.O.V]

“Well since I love you and you love me… I was thinking maybe…” Cameron looked nervous.

“Yeah?” I smiled at him.

“Want to be my girlfriend?” I was shocked.

“Yes, yes of course.” He looked happy. He leaned over and kissed me hungrily.

“Wait, why is Shawn a bad guy?” I asked him finally.

“Well, because he took you from me…” I knew he was lying, he probably didn’t want to make my night any worse. All well. I laid down and Cameron started to walk away.

“Wait, lay down with me?”

“Yeah sure” he smiled and jumped quickly in bed with me. He wrapped his arms around me and snuggled me, he was really spooning me. And I liked it.

“Night beautiful.” He murmured in my ear.

“Night” and I fell asleep happy and sad. Wow I really loved him. And I then fell deeply asleep.

I woke up, shocked from my dream. These are getting so weird, why would I dream about Cameron and being his girlfriend? I need to know what is going on. I need to know what he is hiding and how he knows all about these things.

Finally it was Monday. I looked over to see Tamika, but she wasn’t there. Normally she would always be there on a Monday morning. That’s weird, I wonder where she went. I got up out of bed and got ready for first period.

Once I was ready, I walked out of the dorm and headed to the cafeteria to meet my friends before class. As I was walking down the hall way, I saw a teacher come out of a room and walked off. I went up to the door and it said ‘File Room’. I smirked to myself. I opened the door and went inside. I quickly went over to the draws to look up Cameron’s name.

I smiled to myself when I found his name. I opened the folder and started reading. Woah, he went to the same school as me? I don’t even remember him. And worst of all, we had nearly all the same subjects together. As I was reading more about him, I started getting images in my head. They were about Cameron and I talking in class, hanging out, kissing Cameron, and kissing Shawn. They started to feel like memories now.

I remembered more things, like when I went to a waterfall with Shawn and saw Cameron there. I also remember Mike becoming obsessed with me and drugging me. All of these images were flowing through my head, now I felt dizzy. I sat down on the floor gathering everything together. I remember my whole high school years, every bit of it.

I know my love for Cameron is a lot. I feel really bad for him. Gosh I need to talk to him. I quickly put away the folder. As I rush out of the room, I slam into someone and landed on the floor. I looked up and saw Tenille.

“Rhiannon! Finally. Everyone is looking for you” she told me.

“Why?” I asked her confusingly.

“Why aren’t they?” she chuckled. What is she up too now? She helped me up.

“Before we go anywhere, can I have a word with you?” she asked me sounding nervous.

“Uhh sure…” she sighed.

“Have you told anyone about what you saw?” she asked. I am so confused right now. Tell people what?

“Huh?” I asked her. I quickly glanced at the clock on the wall and it was getting late.

“Can we start walking?” I asked her. She just stared at me like I grew two heads.

“Yeah…” she trailed off, “And you know what I’m talking about” she said giving me a small smile. I shook my head slowly.

“No…” I said to her. She coughed like it was so awkward.

“In the library” she said. Oh now I remember, her and the gym teacher having a make out session? Why would I tell anyone?

“Oh god no! I didn’t tell anyone. We are best friends, Tenille. I would never tell on you, you know that” I told her. And I did mean it. I’m not that bad of a friend.

“Oh good. Because I think I love him, and I have a feeling he loves me too. You’re the only one who knows by the way” she said to me.

“Well, you can’t do anything when it comes to love. No one can stop you, even if you’re in love with an old wrinkly guy” I explained to her. She pushed me playfully.

“Oh shut up” she laughed and soon enough I did too.

“Umm Tenille?”

“Yeah?” she replied.

“I don’t know how to explain this, but I remember.” I decide I’m going to tell her.

“Remember what?” she asked looking at me curiously.

“I remember everything in high school. Dating Shawn and Cameron. It all came to me in a dream kind of thing” I told her. She stood still, not even moving. Was this a bad thing to tell her?

“Are you joking?” she asked me.

“N-no…” I shook my head.

“Oh my god! So you remember every single thing in high school now? But how?”

“I don’t know. I started getting dreams of memories, now they just pop in my head and now I remember everything” I told her. 

“That is actually amazing! So what’s going on between you and Cameron?” she asked me happily.

“I don’t know yet. I’m actually going to look for him so I can talk”

“No, no, no. Let the girls know first. They need to speak to you” she chuckled and pulled me into the cafeteria.

Once I walked in the cafeteria, there were balloons, party streamers, and a banner saying ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHIANNON!’ and also the whole college was there. When I walked through the doors they all said,

“Happy birthday!” and started singing happy birthday to me. I gasped in shock. That’s right! It’s my birthday week, and my actual birthday is this Friday. I tried looking around for Cameron but I couldn’t see him anywhere. I started walking over to my friends who were standing on a big table.
