16- The End... Or The Beginning?

[RHIANNON’S P.O.V]

I woke up startled as someone shook me awake. I open my eyes and saw the doctor standing there in front of me, and beside him was that strange boy. Who the hell was he? He looked really worried.

“Miss Hastings?” the doctor asked me.

“Yes, can you tell me what’s going on?”

“Yes, what is going on?” the boy asked.

“Why is this boy here?” I asked pointing to the boy.

“I’m Cameron babe,” Cameron said to me.

“I don’t even know you!”

“Miss Hastings. Your tests are done” the doctor informed me.

“Okay, what is happening?” I asked.

“Well, someone has given you some kind of medicine that swipes away your memory. You have forgotten quite a lot, like your friends and this boy here.”

“WHAT?” Cameron and I yelled at the same time.

“And I’m really sorry but both your parents have died in a car accident.” The doctor said. I started crying. I can’t believe all of this happened and I don’t even remember.

“Umm, excuse me doc. There must be a mistake. Her dad died but her mum is still alive…” Cameron said to him.

“The mother died last night, she didn’t make it.” Cameron looked shocked. I couldn’t stop crying, why me? And who put medicine in me?

“Can I please have my phone, I need to speak to Shawn,” I asked anyone. Cameron shot his eyes to me. I saw sad and anger flow through his eyes.

“You remember him?” Cameron asked.

“Of course I do, I have known him since I was little. We are best friends.”

“Oh, doc?” Cameron turned to the doctor,

“Well it seems she remembers her old past. Miss Hastings what is the last thing you remember doing with Shawn?” the doctor replied. All I can remember is Shawn leaving to go on his trip to America, and that was it.

“Well, when Shawn left to go on his trip.”

“That was a few years ago” Cameron said.

“Well that’s what she lost between then and now” the doctor said.

Ugh I just need to see Shawn. He is the only one I need right now. My parents are gone and I can’t even remember, someone drugged me, this boy name Cameron. Who would even do this to me? I needed to call Shawn. “I need to call Shawn.” I told the doctor. He then gave me my phone and I typed in Shawn’s number.
