29- Getting Ready

I woke up feeling really incompatible. I blinked the blurry vision away and looked at my surroundings. I was sleeping on a couch, I don't even know which couch. I looked around more to see this house was a mess, there were cups, empty bottles, ripped party streamers. I glanced at the table beside me and there was a condom sitting there. Which is probably used.

I looked at a note that was sitting on me, I picked it up,

Good morning baby, sorry I couldn't stay, I had something to do. Can't wait to see you soon.

Love Cameron.

I smiled at the note. But got furious when he had something to do. I shook it off and stood up. I walked up stairs to get my bags, only to find Tenille cleaning.

"Morning, like the party?" She asked me.

"Yeah, fun and wild" I chuckled and she laughed.

"Hey, can you drive me back home? I have something I have to do" I asked her.

"Yeah sure, go pack your bags and we will leave straight away" she said, "okay thanks" I muttered and went to pack my bags.

Once I was finished, Tenille was sitting in the car ready to go. I hopped in and she started driving off.

"So, what's your plans for today?" She asked me. Should I tell her I kissed him? Should I tell her I'm going on a date with him? It's funny how things change so fast. From Cameron being the popular guy in high school and me the nerd at school, too all of the stuff that's happen and we end up here. Back at the beginning. It feels like I never left high school.

"I'm going on a date with Cameron today" I finally said.

"What?!" She squealed in excitement, "really?" She looked at me and I have her a nod and a smile.

"We kissed last night" I said rethinking about the memory, the way his smooth lips went on mine.

"Oh my! That's so cute. You two would make the cutest babies!" She nearly yelled. I laughed.

"That won't be until a while, Tenille" I assured her. Once we finally arrived at me place I looked at Tenille then smiled.

"Thanks for the ride" I said to Tenille as I got out of the car.

"Any time an good luck!" she smiled. I smiled back and got out the car.

"We will do something these holidays, maybe something fun" she said. I nodded and said goodbye. It's holidays and we only have a few weeks left the we finish college. With that, Tenille drove off. I got the keys for the door and I clocked it.

"Hello?" I called out. But I don't think anyone was home, which meant my auntie was working. I sighed and went up stairs to get ready for the date.

I went through my closet to find something. Ugh I had nothing in here! Then an idea popped in my head. I walked to my aunties room and looked in her closet. Damn she had a lot of cocktail dresses! I finally found the perfect dress, it was a white summer dress that went just above your knees. It was perfect.

I got in the shower and quickly washed all over. I hopped out and got into the dress. I walked into the bathroom to put some makeup on which was a little foundation, mascara, and lip gloss. I got my little bag, then I forgot something. Shoes! I looked in my closet to find some shoes that would match my dress.

I found some cream coloured slip on's. They will do. I started to head down stairs. And that was when I heard the door bell.
