Joyce aimed the blade at Lexie's neck. Little did Lexie know was that Lorain would protect her from that fatal death. And so Joyce's blade penetrated through Lorain's heart and out her back. Joyce then pulled the blade out of Lorain's body. Her intentions were too never hurt Lorain, but only Lexie.

When Lorain took that massive hit, she instantly pounded on the floor. On the floor, she gave her last breaths. Sherrie from afar shouted, "STOP! YOU NEED TO STOP! LOOK AT ALL THESE INNOCENT PEOPLE HERE!" "NO ONE IS INNOCENT AND I WILL SHOW YOU HOW INNOCENCE ALWAYS HAS AN END!" shouted Joyce.

Joyce drags Lorain to a nearby dock. As she drags her, Sherrie took out a gun she had found inside the so called gated mansion. She then aimed toward Joyce's head. Sherrie had a hard time to shoot her because she viewed Joyce as a new daughter. Sherrie was about to pull the trigger when the pilot got a lock on her. Lexie looked at Sherrie's situation. She wanted to help her but also save Lorain at the same time. Those choices frustrated her, but she would soon find a third option that would benefit everyone.

Sherrie shouted to Lexie, "Forget me! I'll get out of this situation. Go save Lorain!" Lexie knew Sherrie could escape these people for she had escaped the shadows. Lexie shouted back, "If anything bad happens, you know that I will come for you, Sherrie." With that said, Lexie went after Lorain. "Do not throw her down there!" said Lexie firmly.

Joyce replied, "I never wanted her to get hurt and I can't believe she wasted her life on you. Everything would've been easier if you had never taken part in this damn story! Now because of you, she's going to die. You will remember that this was your fault! Your fault Lexie! Do you understand? It's time we let Lorain go, Lexie. Just think of it as if she's already gone."

"What happened to you, Joyce? Why are you doing this? We thought you were our friend! What's making you do this!? We'll stop it, together. Just tell me. I probably shouldn't be saying this but can you please trust me one more time? If you don't want to trust whom you're trusting right now, believe that my words are true. If you're in a hard situation, I'll find a way to help you out of it. you know I can. Also, if it's a tragedy, I will compare mine to yours. Know why? Because of our similar age. Similar age turns to the about the same experience we have. Let's to this together Joyce! Once we find a solution, you'll be free from all of this. And if you so desperately want, you can be away from me. I'll leave and make my own path. Would you like that Joyce?"

Joyce cried, "I don't want to this! I never wanted to! I'm not psychotic! I think I'm just broken. Broken by everything that has happened to me. I just need a special someone not just anyone. I'm sorry Lexie, but you're not that special person." "It's okay Joyce. I don't have to be that special person. Did Grieve make you do this? Was it that bastard?"

Joyce did not bother to answer that question and instead put her head down. "We can help you to rehabilitate your mind. You'll be good again." "I'm not psychotic! If I don't do this, I won't get my promise from Grieve!" As Joyce said this she pushed Lorain towards the ocean floor. Lexie ran to try and grab the body before it was too late. Lexie shouted, "No! you daughter of a..." Joyce kicked Lexie with double the force than before. Lexie went flying to the edge of the dock as well. "Looks like I'm going to have to kill you right here," said Joyce.
