Joyce's grandmother was sitting on a couch of an unknown house. She was talking with a young couple in their mid-thirties. "I'm sorry it took me four years to get to you both. I was lost and in serious danger. Everything happened so quick. One moment I'm on my feet. The next I'm awake stranded in an unknown location. But that's not what I came here to talk about. I'm here to talk about Joyce. Joyce is my granddaughter as you both might've heard from me a couple years back."

"Yes, I do remember," said the young woman. Joyce's grandmother continued, "You see, I'm getting a little old. Soon, I will die. I came here to seek both your help. I ask with pure heart if you'll both be willing to take care of my granddaughter? I remember writing a note of everything you need to know about my beloved Joyce. I will gladly tell again if both you lovely people have forgotten."

The young man replied, "Please do tell one more time, so we have it clear ma'am. Say as much about Joyce as you desire. We're patient. Isn't that right, Honey?" The young woman looks at Nana and says, "Yes of course. Go ahead. We're dying to know a lot about her."

Nana says, "Well Joyce is much more than a kindhearted person. She's very understanding and cooperative. She almost never retaliates any demands you might have for her. Her personality is just the best. She'll grow to love you both. I promise. She'll need it now that I'll be gone."

The young woman added, "Well... we have been looking for a daughter for some time now. My primary infertility has been giving me mass depression. Not being able to have a child is hard, you know? A new daughter would make me so happy. Isn't that right Sweetie?" The young man replied, "That's right. We will do our best to take care of her. We will be her new parents!"

The young woman got up from the couch and asked Nana, "I'm sorry for such a late offer, but would you like a drink?" "That would be wonderful," replied Nana. "What about you, Sweetie?" asked the woman to her husband. "Yes, Dear," he replied back.

As the young woman left, her husband's smile fell apart. He now had a serious expression. He carefully whispered to Nana, "I shouldn't be saying this but my wife wants a daughter for peace of mind. You see, just a couple years ago we saw a boy, with a blade in hand. We saw a man and a woman dead, side by side. What's worse, my wife believes it was his parents whom he killed. Don't you think that's insane?"

Nana replied, "Yes a little more than just insane I would say." Nana did not get into further details for she did not want the couple to have a mental breakdown. The young woman came back with three glass bottles of natural grape juice. She gave one of the bottles to Nana before sitting down. She had the other two drinks on her hand. She gave one of them to her husband.

"Are you both alright? you two look like you came back from a funeral," said the woman. "We're fine dear. Nana was just giving us the paperwork to take care of Joyce into our hands." "That's great! You can count on us. Thank you so much Nana."

Nana replied, "It should be I thanking you. Now... go to her. She needs you both." The young couple had a planned flight ahead of time. They would soon get to know Joyce in about fourteen days. But not the way Nana had described her...

Meanwhile... Officer Simmons was talking with someone secretively, "I need your help finding certain books. These books are too dangerous to be in the hands of the public. Once we have found them, I need your help in hiding them discretely. Can I count on your help?" "Of course!" replied Observer...

Meanwhile, during school breakfast... Lexie went up to Mimi. She was dressed differently than her usual covered clothing. She was wearing a black and red long dress. Along with a classic black and red cambric hat. Her style came with Suede heels and a pair of old fashion designer sunglasses. Once Lexie was properly seated, she took out a book and a note. She placed the note on top of the book. She slid the book to Mimi. Mimi quietly read the note to herself.

Once done reading, Lexie showed her the two blue heart-shaped necklaces she took from Lorain. Mimi took off her sunglasses and her cambric hat, revealing her facial perfection. She had shining beautiful dark brown eyes, an endearing grin, and adorable ears. Anyone who'd see her would be mesmerized and captivated by her beauty. Lexie finally spoke and said, "Hello... Rachelle..."
