"Hello Angel, my wonderful friend," Lexie had previously said. Angel poked at Lexie's arm to see if it was actually her. He backed away in fear. He thought she had died. He was skeptical of her presence. "You're one of Grieve's new tricks" Angel took out his blade ready to strike. Lexie said, "No wait! Calm down. I will prove to you that it's really me."
She showed him the scars she had in her hands. Angel was now immensely at ease. He immediately gave Lexie a warm, long hug as he cried on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry Lexie for not saving you from Joyce when I had to! I can't do anything right! Please, please, please forgive me!"
Lexie said, "Don't worry. It's not your fault. I know now that Grieve was the one who slit my wrists to purposefully get bullied at school. He will pay for what he has done to me. We are willing to help you at any cost, Angel." "We? Who's we?" Angel asked in co fusion
That is when Lorain appeared in Angel's view. Lexie said, "You remember Lorain, right? She was the one that took you out of danger and into care back at Joyce's grandmother's house." "Are you after Grieve too?" Angel asked Lorain.
"I wasn't. That was until I found out he was the one who murdered my daughter. I want unjustified payback for my little girl." "Don't you mean justified payback?" asked Angel. "No! Lexie told me very graphic details of her killing. She was burned in an evil environment. Times have changed. We have changed unwillingly to that bastard!"
Lexie interrupted Lorain's speech, "This time Angel, we will not limit your doings. There's just a couple of setbacks... Constantine being the main. He's as strong as you!" "I threw him down a waterfall. He should be dead!" "What color were your eyes?" asked Lexie.
Angel replied, "I... don't remember. Possibly red?" "No Angel! Your eyes have to be a special color. We don't know what color it is yet, but we will soon find out. How many chances do you have left?" Angel replied, "I only have three."
"Damn, he's getting closer," said Lexie. "Closer to what?" asked Angel. "I'll let Lorain explain from here." Lorain walked up towards Angel. He looked at Lorain waiting impatiently for an answer. Lorain spoke, "I might have read your father's note." "What did it say?" asked Angel.
Lorain replied, "Sadly, I cannot tell you. Your father mentioned that you have to read it for yourself. No one is allowed to tell you such harmful and emotional words that had come form your father's note. Once you have read that note, your emotions will be stronger and darker than ever. You will turn into pure fear." Lexie said to Angel, "We need you to read that note! There isn't much time left!"
"I don't remember where I left it or if I even have it. Look, I appreciate you both wanting to help me. But, if I'm not after Joyce anymore, what's my purpose?" "Grieve is your purpose," replied Lexie.
Angel sat back down. He said, "You can go after them. I'll just stay here and let the last tears I have for Joyce run loose." That made Lexie all the more furious and stressed. She wanted nothing more but to end Grieve. There was only one way to get to him and she needed Joyce's help. Lexie left Angel in search of Joyce. She was furious and more enraged than ever. Who knew what was to happen when she encounters Joyce.
