LETTER TO OUR READERS

Dear reader,

Thank you for picking this book and taking the time to read it. Because of your interest, I can dare to dream and write more.

There are many beliefs and stories on earth. We are told of heroes, gods, kings and queens. When we look at our cultures, beliefs and myths, we realise almost all are the same; they just are given different names.

Most people believe that some beings and creatures exist beyond our physical plane. It is easy to dismiss what you cannot see, but just because it cannot be perceived with the eyes does not mean it does not exist.

There are things that even science cannot interpret or explain. We can't always have an answer or an explanation for everything. There are still some elements of truths in our dreams and imaginations, and that is what keeps hope alive. Let us not kill hope by killing creativity and imagination. With open hearts and minds believe in the possibility of the impossible and come on this beautiful, fantastic adventure with us.

Thank you once again for picking up this book to read. I hope it entertains and inspires you as it did me.

With lots of love,

The Author

VOLUME ONE

THE PROPHECY

"All who believe witness this day. As the Creator gives the rib of Adam unto thee, so will thee be given the power of creation, and from the four realms will a new soul be created. None again after the first shall exist. The Mercy of the Creator shall be upon thee, and it shall devour evil and restore balance. Its path shall be that of the Exousia, and man and Nephilim will rule and keep the balance, as it was to be in the beginning.

Take thee, heed. It cannot be owned neither can it be compelled. It can only be wooed. Wooed and deceived by evil and self, it will bring destruction and death to all. The Exousia shall restore balance to the world of man and Nephilim but only as one shall the Exousia succeed...."

CHAPTER ONE

Imbroglio

It was 10 pm. Ann lay flat on her bed, staring at the ceiling. There was no electricity as usual, and her father had switched off the electricity generator. There was fuel scarcity in the country. People had to be extra careful with fuel consumption. Nigeria was 55 years old by now, and the power supply was still unstable. Load shedding was practised within the country.

"I need some air." She sighed, getting up.

Her room was no longer cold. The air conditioning had been off for more than an hour by then. Her arms were tired from fanning herself with the makeshift fan she had created. Anymore fanning and her biceps would be well developed like an athlete going for the Olympics, she thought to herself. If she did not find a way to cool off, she'd have heat rash by morning.
