Being Normal is Overrated

Hello Again

Hello!

Sorry I haven't updated in quite a while. I've been really busy even though it is summer haha.

I have to go to a summer thingy to prepare for a class next year, and we're reading/analyzing Walden. I find it hilarious that even the teacher hates it! She says that Henry David Thoreau is very condescending and full of himself sometimes.

Honestly though, the way he flits from one idea to the next is such a mood. I can kinda understand his metaphors a little bit because I am very fond of metaphors myself. But there are other times when I reread the same paragraph over... and over... and over because either I am thinking about something else, I'm bored, or I'm tired.

My favorite quote from Walden is when Thoreau is talking about the pond and then he randomly says, "This is as important as that it keeps butter cool." 😂 I don't know why, I just find that funny.

Sorry if I offend anyone out there who likes to read Thoreau stuff.

But anyway!

For the people who read my Guardians of Ga'Hoole fanfiction, and who may or may not read this book as well, I am working on another chapter but haven't had the time/energy/ideas to finish it yet. So eventually, that will be there.

I haven't updated Icarus, my warriors fanfiction, in a while either. I need to keep working on that one.

Oof I have so much stuff I need to do and so much time to do it, but because there is so much I end up procrastinating and doing practically none of it.

I think I'm going to start ending these with, "Goodnight, listeners. Goodnight." It is a quote that has many variations and is used in every episode of Welcome to Night Vale, a very... interesting... podcast.
