I just... really want to go climb a tree right now. And read/write/listen to music in the tree.
But I can't because suburbs! Are! Not! Fun! Sometimes!
Excuse me while I rant.
There was a climbing tree in my neighborhood that would have been nearly perfect for this, but people cut the lowest branches off for some reason! And now it is nearly impossible to climb! (I mean, my friend had an idea that I could turn a picnic bench on its side and use that to reach other branches, but... I don’t know if that will work. Too much effort.) There are no other good climbing trees in my neighborhood because it is too new and old trees are usually better climbing trees than new ones! The closest tree that would work is at a park that is just outside of my neighborhood, but it takes about ten minutes to bike there and I would have to bike up a large hill on the way back, which is grueling and not very fun!
I just want to sit in a tree and have the weather be really nice and have a gentle breeze rustle the leaves, making that calming sound, and stare at the sky without danger of sneezing because leaves block the sun from poking my eyeballs.
And read/write all afternoon because I think I would get my best ideas while in a tree, and listen to music and watch the sunset. Then go home.
It would just be really nice if I could do that!
So I want to live in the country because scenery and animals and plenty of space! But suburbs are nice though because sometimes I just wanna be around people. Not talking to them necessarily, but just there. And I like being able to bike wherever I want to go in town. I also like being near my friends.
*exasperated screech*
So, that's my random thought of the day.
Goodnight, Night Vale. Goodnight.
