"So how were my brother and sister?" I asked to make conversation, and to sway from the topic beforehand.

"They're good. Scar has fallen in love with riding the motorcycle, so that's what they've mostly been doing." Toni said with a chuckle. I smiled a little. "So do you want to come sleep at my house tonight?" She asked. I looked up to Sweet Pea.

"Um. I'll come over later maybe." I said. He smiled back at me. Toni stood up and walked past us almost to the front door.

"Okay. Just tell you dad that you're sleeping at my house. And I'll cover for you later." She said with a wink. I looked down and felt my cheeks get red. "Bye guys." She said with a chuckle. She slammed the door shut on her way out.

"So what do you want to do now?" He asked. I held onto his arm and laid my head down.  I shrugged. "How about we get some food, bring it home and you can guess the rest." He said with a smirk. I giggled.

"Yes. Yes. That sounds fantastic." I said. He then kissed my forehead and got up. He helped me up and we walked out to his motorcycle.

After we finished eating we sat in his room on his bed. I sat there mindlessly dragging my fingers across his arm. He held me with his muscular arms. And I felt so safe.

"Sweet Pea. I just wanted to say thank you for today. It was the most excitement I've had in weeks." I said. He sat me up in his lap and I laid my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head. I looked at my phone to see the time.

"Oh my god. It's actually so late. Could you please bring me to Toni's." I asked. I got up and pulled my serpent jacket back on then slid my shoes on. I walked to the front door. Sweet Pea came out and leaned on the kitchen counter.

"You sure? You can sleep in my bed." He said with a small smirk. I looked to see that Toni had called.

"Yes Sweet Pea. And I'm serious." I said. I opened up the door and looked at him. He nodded and followed me out. We both hopped onto his motorcycle and he drove away.

I walked into Toni's trailer with Sweet Pea following me. When she saw me she looked surprised.

"Oh. I didn't think you were going to be coming. But come in. Make yourself at home." Toni said letting us in. I went and sat in the worn down brown recliner.

I sat there in silence while Sweet Pea and Toni were talking quietly in the kitchen. I went on my phone to see I had a bunch of snaps, but nothing to important. I all of a sudden heard Toni laughing hard. I looked up quickly.

"So you want to have a girls night? Or do you want me to invite the boys over?" Toni asked while walking over. I took a deep breath.

"Either is fine. What ever you'd like. Which ever is more the true serpent experience. That's what my father would love." I said with a small smile and an eye roll. She chuckled a little.

"Alright the boys it is." Toni said. She then looked to Sweet Pea and motioned towards his phone. He rolled his eyes and then did as told. Toni came and sat near me.

"Sooo? How was it? What did you do?" She whispered to me. I scoffed.

"A lady never kisses and tells." I said. Toni rolled her eyes at me. "But we really only kissed. I stopped him before we went to far." I admitted.

"That is totally okay. I understand." She said. I gave a little smile. Sweet Pea came over and sat on the other couch across from me.

"They're on their way." He said. I nodded. He sat there with a blank stare. He refused to look at me.

"Hey Toni could you give us a moment alone before they come?" I asked. She nodded and walked out the front door. Once she was gone I stood up and walked over to him and sat in the opposite side of the couch.

"What do we need to talk about?" He scoffed at me. I took a deep breath.

"About what happened Sweet Pea. I didn't mean to offend you and I don't want things to be awkward." I said.

"Why would they be awkward?" He spat at me, looking at me right in the eye. I groaned and balled my hands into fists.

"Because I rejected having sex with you!" I yelled. We were quiet for a moment. Just looking at each in the eyes. He sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Yes. I'm sorry. I just don't ever talk about these things because usually I don't end up seeing the girl again." He admitted.

"Well I don't know about you, but I'd like to see you again. And that kiss meant something to me. Like I know we just met yesterday, but I like you Sweet Pea." I said. He scooted over to me and took my hands.

"Me too Cami." He said sweetly and with a small grin. I smiled back at him.

"Thank you. But I think if we are going to do this we should go slow right now. I think it's what's best for me." I said. He nodded.

"Yeah. I want to be with you especially since I've been going through a rough patch recently and you made me forget everything that happened." He said.

I leaned over to him and gave him a hug. Setting my head on his shoulder. He squeezed me tight. It felt so warm and so safe.

The next day I woke up in bed next to Toni. I accidentally rolled on top of her. She almost fell out of bed. She pushed me over.

"Hey get off of me." She groaned. I got up and walked into the living room. A bunch of the boys were crashed on the floor and couches. I looked to see Sweet Pea sitting at the table in the kitchen. I quietly tip toed around the boys over to him.

"Good morning." I whispered. He just nodded at me before taking a sip of coffee. "How'd you sleep?" I asked. He shrugged. I rolled my eyes. I sat down in the chair across from him. We sat in silence until Toni came stumbling out of the bedroom rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning guys." She yawned. I smiled a little. She sat next to me and laid her head on the table.
