After school the next day I went right home. I first did my homework, which thankfully there wasn't much of. Then started to get ready for my date with Sweet Pea. I decided to keep my outfit more of what I would wear on the Northside.

I chose a navy dress with a chambray collar underneath. Then a pair of cream colored high top converse. Then my gold hoop earrings. And lastly a nudey pink purse.

I then went and got Chester to pull around the town car. I quickly said good bye to my mother.

"Where are you going?" Mom asked. I stopped for a second.

"Oh. I'm going on a date. At Pop's. " I said. My mom smiled.

"Okay, please don't stay out late. Have fun Cami I love you!" Mom said to me. I gave her hug before running out to Chester.

When I got to the diner Sweet was waiting inside. He was wearing a green and black flannel with a gray T-shirt with a pair of jeans. He greeted me with a smile.

"Hi Cami. You look nice." He said. I smiled back at him.

"Oh thanks this is just what I wore to school." I said while sitting in the seat across from him. "But you even took off your serpent jacket for me. Wow." I said with a chuckle.

"Yeah. You said you didn't want people to know you were a serpent, so I took it off." He explained. Pop then came over and took our orders.

"So why don't you want your friends to know you're a serpent?" Sweet Pea asked before taking a sit of his water. I chuckled a little.

"Well my mom is very popular on the Northside and obviously very wealthy. And my mom doesn't want to ruin our family's reputation." I explained. He nodded.

"How does your dad feel about that? Because he's like a leader." Sweet Pea asked. I shrugged.

"He goes along with it. Mostly so we have a good education. But also if my mom didn't have as much money he'd totally want us on the southside." I said. He just kept nodding.

"Well that wouldn't be so bad would it?" He asked. I shrugged with a small smile. Jughead and Betty then walked into the door. I looked back toward Sweet Pea.

"Ummm. Just keep looking. At me and talk to me like I'm Toni." I said while freaking out. Jughead and Betty then walked over to us.

"Camille! Oh my gosh hi. What are you doing here?" She asked while looking at Sweet Pea and I. I stuttered on my words while looking at Sweet Pea.

"I just needed some help with History. So after we finished I promised I'd buy her dinner." Sweet Pea explained. I nodded agreeing with him.

"Yeah we were just about to leave anyways." I explained. Pop then brought over our food for us.

"Really? You were just about to leave?" Jughead asked sarcastically.

"I-um-uh." I said while looking around frantically.

"Fuck off Jughead. She said that for you to leave." Sweet Pea said.

"Well we can just stay then. It feels like I haven't seen you in forever." Betty said while sitting next to me. I grimaced and scooted over. Jughead agreed and sat next to Sweet Pea.

"So where did you guys meet? Cause you know you're a Park Avenue princess Ms Camille, and you're a serpent Sweet Pea." Jughead asked with a cocked eyebrow and a smirk on his face.

"Well we're in the same history class. And she's like the smartest one in the class. So I asked her for help." Sweet Pea explained. I just kept my head down and went on my phone. I took a bite of my chicken strips and sat there quietly while the 3 of them talked.

"Hey what's wrong?" Betty asked me quietly. I quickly turned my head to her.

"What? Oh. Nothing I'm fine." I answered. Betty shook her head at me.

"No you're lying. What is it?" She asked.

"Nothing!" I whined. I then drank some of my milkshake but then dropped it and it spilled it all of bed.

"Oh my god Camille! Let's get you back home." Betty said while standing up and helping me up.

"No. No I'm fine Betty. I can stay let me just wipe myself off quick." I said while walking to the bathroom. Betty quickly followed me to the bathroom. I grabbed some paper towels and wiped off my dress.

"Okay seriously what is up? You have never done anything like that?" Betty asked while grabbing paper towels. I sighed and sat on the floor. I looked to make sure no one else was here.

"Fine. But you seriously can't tell anyone else. Like I will seriously kill you if you tell anyone." I said. Betty sat down next to me.

"I pinkie swear." Betty said while putting up her pinkie. I wrapped my pinkie around her.

"So my dad lives on the southside. And he's a serpent. And I am too." I said. Betty just stared at me. With a blank face. "Finn is also. And so I met Sweet Pea a few weekends ago. My dad has tried to shelter us from most of the southside. Like even Jughead didn't know I was a serpent until a couple weekends ago." I explained.

"But that doesn't explain why you're here with Sweet Pea." Betty said. I sighed and nodded my head.

"Well, Sweet Pea and I. Wow. I had a crush on him like right away. And we maybe kissed and stuff. I don't know. Then things became weird and then he asked me on a date. And now we're here." I explained. Betty just kept nodding. "You literally can't tell anyone I'm serious." I said.

"Oh my god. I promise I won't. But wow. I never. I wouldn't have guessed." Betty said in a dumbfounded way. I sighed then stood up. I finished wiping off my dress.

"Okay lets go back out." I said while looking in the mirror and fixing my hair. Betty nodded and followed me out.

Sweet Pea and Jughead were waiting for us. Sweet Pea stood there holding doggie bags and his flannel.

"Here you can use my flannel. And I got the food to go. So we can go eat at your dads trailer or mine." Sweet Pea offered. I walked over to him with a smile. I took his flannel from him and tied it around my waist.

"Um sure. Let's go to yours but then you'll have to bring me home later." I said with a smile. He smiled back at me and followed me outside holding the door open for me.

I watched as Betty and Jughead followed us out. I waved to Betty before I got onto Sweet Pea's motorcycle. He handed me his helmet and I slid it on before we took off.

When we got to his trailer we walked inside and he cleared some things off the table real quick while I waited in the living room.

"Okay hopefully this is up to your standards." Sweet Pea said inviting me over to the table. I chuckled a little while walking over to him.

"I'm sure it will be. Have you seen who my father is?" I joked while sitting down next to him.

"Your fathers trailer is the one of the cleanest trailers I've ever seen." Sweet Pea said. I shrugged.

"Sweet Pea I wanted to say thank you. And like coming up with excuses like that. And standing up for me." I confessed. Sweet Pea put his hand on top of mine. "And for being such a gentleman. I've only ever had douchey guys or ones who came for my mom's money." I explained.

"Well I'm just here for your dad." Sweet Pea joked. I scoffed and hit him in the arm. "No I'm kidding." He said with his gorgeous smile.

"But seriously though. Thank you." I said. 

"Eh. No problem. Especially for a girl like you." He said. I felt my cheeks get warm. He rubbed my hand with his thumb.
