We all filled into the car that Veronica had gotten for us to all ride. We drove into the city to a cute little Italian restaurant. When we walked in everyone was greeting Veronica. We were walked to the back where they had a special room all set up for us.

I sat in between Sweet Pea and Jughead.  Sweet Pea held my hand under the table.

"Ahhh! I am so excited that we were able to do this!" Veronica squealed. We all chuckled a little. "Order whatever you want. It's all on me!" She said as she took a seat next to Archie and Betty. We all looked through the menu.

"So Cam, how did you and Sweet Pea meet?" Betty asked. I could feel my cheeks getting all warm. I smiled and glanced at Sweet Pea quickly, then back to Betty.

"Um well. My dads actually a serpent and we went to the whyte wyrm and Jughead introduced us and um yeah." I chuckled with a big grin on my face. Sweet Pea put his hand on my thigh.

"That's so cute!" Veronica gushed. We all smiled. A waitress then came in and took our order. After that we all make conversation quietly. I tried to keep it off of me.

"So wait your dads a serpent? And your mom and him? What?" Betty said. I smiled a little.

"Yeah um they were married and my mom actually is a serpent too. But when they got divorced they wanted us to have a good education. But it was important to my dad that we were Serpents. So we are with him on the weekends." I explained. Everyone just nodded.

The next day I packed up my stuff getting ready to back to my moms. Scarlett helped me a little while my dad and finn were sitting outside having a beer. Once it was 2:50 my dad knew it was time to leave so we wouldn't be late back to moms. So we hopped in his truck and drove to Pop's.

When we got home mom was waiting for us outside with a smile. Scarlett ran up to her with a smile.

"Okay guys I have something very exciting. I know this maybe isn't the best time. But I have a boyfriend that I'd like you guys to meet. He is here having dinner with us tonight. His name is Michael." She said as we were in the elevator. When got upstairs he was waiting for us in the living room.

"Hi guys. I'm Micheal it is so nice to meet you guys after your mom has talked about you guys so much!" He said with a big smile.

"So Michael this is Finn and Scarlett and Camille." Mom said introducing us all. Finn gave him a firm handshake while Scarlett and I just smiled and waved.  We walked into the dining room where mom had dinner out.

The next day I woke up and walked into the dining room to have breakfast before I left for school. And sitting there in my spot was Michael. I took a deep breath and sat in a different spot.

"So where do you go to school Camille?" Michael asked while looking up from his newspaper.

"I go to Riverdale High." I said before taking a bite of my bagel.

Once Finn and Scarlet were done eating we all filed into the town car where Chester was waiting for us. We then drove to school.

"So what do you guys think of Michael?" Chester asked us. We all just shrugged.

"Mmmm. Not a huge fan. Something seems off about him." I said. Chester chuckled. "What?" I asked him.

"Nothing. Just I know him a little and he is not a good guy." Chester said. We all stopped and looked up at him.

"What do you mean he's not a good guy?" Finn asked. 

"Well I just know he does some shady business with Mr. Lodge. And I'm pretty sure he's only with your mother for the money." Chester said. We all started to kind of freak out. "Don't worry about it though and don't tell your mother. Or your father. I will deal with it. Now have fun at school." Chester said as we pulled up to the school.

"Great. Just what I need on a Monday morning." Finn said as we walked up to school. I just agreed with him. Betty and Veronica were waiting for me by my locker.

"Good morning. How was your Sunday?" Betty asked. I just shrugged. "Is everything okay? Did something happen?" Betty asked. I groaned.

"Well my Mom now has a boyfriend. His name is Michael." I explained. They were now very intrigued. I grabbed some stuff from my locker quickly then slammed it shut. As I turned around I came face to face with Sweet Pea. "Hi." I exclaimed with a smile.

"Hey." He responded. I giggled a little. A few of the Varsity football players walked by and scoffed at me. I just rolled my eyes. "So tonight there's this thing at the whyte wyrm and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Sure I'd love to, but I'll have to see how much homework I get." I responded with. He just nodded his head.

After school I waited with Finn at the entrance of the school for  Chester to come get us. After about 20 minutes we became nervous because he still wasn't there yet. So we called Veronica for a ride. She came immediately. We picked up Scarlett then went straight home.  When we got upstairs Mom and Michael were sitting together.

"Oh my goodness what happened guys why are you so la- oh my god I am so so sorry I forgot I told Chester I would pick you guys up today. You poor babies." Mom said as she got up and gave us all a hug. While apologizing profusely.

"It's okay. Maybe just don't be as distracted next time." I said while glaring at Michael.

"So how was your guys's day at school?" Michael asked as we walked into the dining room for a snack that Carla was setting out. 

"Fine. I'm going out with Sweet Pea." I said while sitting down. Mom started to speak before Finn interrupted her.

"Yeah I have plans with my friends tonight too." Finn said.

"Oh okay." Mom said. You could hear the sadness in her voice. Once I finished eating I went straight to my room. I started getting ready for the night. I heard a knock at the door, I turned around expecting to see Mom. It was Scarlett. I smiled at her. She closed the door then sat on my bed.

"Hey Scar is everything okay." I asked while turning around on my chair.

"Yeah. It's just that after what Chester said this morning I don't feel safe staying here with Michael. Can I come with?" Scarlett said. I smiled and set down my makeup brush.

"You know what I'll just stay here with you tonight. We can do face masks and have a girls night!" I said. She giggled and gave me a hug.
