The next day we all got to sleep in. I didn't wake up until 12:36. When I did wake up I walked into the kitchen where my dad was making lunch.

"Well thanks for finally joining us." He said with an eye roll. I walked into the living room where Finn and Scarlett were both sitting. "Hey Finn I need some help with a delivery today? Would you mind helping?" Dad asked Finn.

"Um. Sure dad that sounds great." Finn said with a big smile. He was always a people pleaser.

"What does that mean for Scarlett and I daddy?" I asked.

"Is Toni willing to hang out again? I know you guys wanted to spend time with me but I'm just always super busy." Dad said. I nodded.

"I'll ask." I said. He nodded while walking back into the kitchen. I texted Toni quick before leaning my head into Scarlett.

Toni came and picked Scarlett and me up from our trailer. We dropped Scarlett off quickly before Toni brought me to our activity she had planned for us today.

We pulled up to a trailer and I just followed inside nervously not knowing where I was. When we walked inside Fangs and Sweet Pea sat there. I stood in my spot when I saw Sweet Pea.

"What is she doing here?" Sweet Pea yelled at Toni. Toni shook her head and chuckled.

"We're just here to hang out Sweet Pea. Her dad had some business to take care of, so he sent her with me." Toni explained while sitting down on the couch.

The only spot that was left open was next to Sweet Pea. He scooted over to the very far edge so there was more space before I sat down. We both quickly glanced at each other before looking at the ground again.

"Sweet Pea how are you even alive from yesterday? You drank so much." Toni said. He shrugged.

"So Cami, what is Scar doing today?" Fangs asked. I just pulled out my phone.

"Hey! We are just trying to make conversation here so things are less awkward. You're making this harder for all of us. So just kiss and make up right damn now." Toni yelled at us. I could feel Sweet Pea look over at me.

"I'm sorry." He said quietly. I turned and looked over at him. "I'm sorry for being such a douche bag." He said. I nodded.

"I accept your apology." I said back to him. Toni glared at me. I groaned and rolled my eyes. "And I guess I'm sorry for embarrassing you in front of everyone yesterday." I said. He nodded back at me.

"Fangs, Toni. Go somewhere else right now I need to talk with Cam." Sweet Pea said while standing up. They nodded and walked out. I sat there and played with the hem of my shirt.

"So I wanted to talk about what I said last night before I ran off." Sweet Pea said.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said while shaking my head. He rolled his eyes at me.

"The part when I said I actually did like you." Sweet Pea answered. I started nodding.

"Oh yeah." I said back with a smirk. He rolled his eyes again.

"Well I actually meant it. And I know I haven't known you for very long Cami. But I do. I like you a lot." Sweet Pea confessed.

"I understand. But I'm not sure how I'm feeling right now. Like I had a huge crush in the beginning. And it was mostly a lust thing I'm sure. But then you were all rude and distant. So let me just think about." I explained.

"You can. But can we try please or do something?" Sweet Pea begged. I sighed and nodded.

"We can go slow. Go on a couple of dates maybe. Then we can see." I said. He nodded with a small smile.

The next week at school I sat Trigonometry with Toni. The teacher had finished her lesson and we were working on homework.

"So I heard you and Sweet Pea are going on a date tonight?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows. I sat back and furrowed my brows at her.

"Umm. What are you talking about?" I asked. She looked at me with wide eyes.

"Sweet Pea said you guys had a date tonight?" She said. I shook my head quickly.

After class it was lunch. I ran to find Sweet Pea. He was sitting with Fangs in the cafeteria. I sat across from him.

"Can I help you?" He said. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Yeah um, why did Toni say that we were going on a date tonight?" I asked. He rolled his eyes at me.

"I never told her that so it's absolutely bull shit." Sweet Pea said.

"Whatever." I said before walking away to Veronica and Betty who were waiting for me at my usual lunch table.

I was in history class after lunch finishing up the notes quickly before working on the project. While I closed my notebook Sweet Pea came and sat next to me. He looked over at me with a smile.

"Hi." I said while pulling out my computer.

"So I was wondering if you would like to go out for dinner with me sometime?" He asked with a big sweet smile on his face. I chuckled.

"I don't know. Sweet Pea." I said while working on my project.

"Please." He begged quietly. I rolled my eyes and turned my head over to him.

"Fine. I will. But on my terms. I don't want people to know that I'm a serpent." I explained. He nodded then scooted away from me with a goofy grin on his face.

Reggie then walked over to me. I rolled my eyes not even looking up at him. He leaned up against my desk.

"Is this serpent scum bag bothering you?" Reggie asked. I shook my head.

"No Reggie, but you are. So could you please leave." I said while typing.

"What? I was going to come take you up on that Pop's date." Reggie said. I scoffed.

"Yeah I'm not really feeling that. Could you please leave me alone?" I asked again looking up at him.

"What ever you lose you whore." Reggie said before walking away. I rolled my eyes. I saw Sweet Pea about to get out of his chair. I put my hand on his desk and he stopped moving. I then turned my head to him.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow evening at Pop's. Let's say 6:30." I said before turning back to my school work.
