On Monday I invited Sweet Pea to dinner. And hadn't told my mom. So after school I sat her down to tell her.

"What is wrong dear?" Mother asked frantically. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Nothing Mother. I just wanted to tell you that I invited my boyfriend over for dinner tonight." I said slowly. I saw a smile creep on mom's face.

"Oh my goodness. Really? Who is it?" Mom asked getting really excited. I giggled a little.

"Well, um that's why I sat you down. He-he's a serpent. Um his name is Sweet Pea." I confessed. I saw my mother's smile slowly go away as she slumped into the couch.

"Oh. Okay. I've heard of him I guess." Mom said coldly. I nodded. There was then a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." I said quickly while standing up. I walked towards the door, but Finn beat me to it.

"Sweet Pea. Dude what are you doing here?" Finn asked. He looked back at me. Finn looked back at Sweet Pea, then back at me with a smirk. "Ohhhh. You're here for Camille?" Finn said.

"Yeah, I'm here for dinner apprently?" Sweet Pea said. Finn nodded and let him in.

"Finnegan, be a gentleman and let him. Have him sit down and get him a drink." Mom yelled from the dining room. Finn and I chuckled awkwardly. I walked over to Sweet Pea and took his arm.

"Sweets let me introduce you to my mother." I said. I looked up at him with a smile and he smiled back. When we got into the dining room mom stood up with a giant smile on her face.

"Hi Mrs. Coleman, I'm Sweet Pea" He said introducing himself. He put his hand out for her to shake. My mom took it and gave him a handshake.

"Sweet Pea it is so nice to meet. I've heard nothing but good things about you." Mom said with a smile. We then stood there in silence.

"Okay Mom. So when is dinner?" I asked. Mom looked at her phone.

"Soon darling. Why don't you and Finn go into the living room and do something with our guest." Mom said with a fake smile. I nodded and walked Sweet Pea over.

"I'm sorry that she was so weird. I kind just told her about you today. And she's not exactly loving the idea of you." I said. Sweet Pea nodded.

"What does your dad think?" He asked. I took a deep breath and chuckled a little.

"About that, he doesn't know. So please please don't tell him." I begged. He nodded. Scarlett came into the room with a confused face.

"What is Sweet Pea doing here?" She asked while crossing her arms.

"I'm having dinner with you." Sweet Pea said with a giant smile.

Once dinner was finally served I sat in between Sweet Pea and Finn. Scarlett sat across from us while mom sat at the head of the table. It was very silent for the beginning.

"So I hear you're a Serpent Sweet Pea?" Mom asked. I shook my head.

"Yeah, but don't worry I don't really get involved with all the bad things. I'm friends with Jughead, if you know who that is." Sweet Pea explained. Mom just nodded.

"F.p's son?" She asked. Sweet Pea nodded before taking a drink of water.

"Yes ma'am." He said. Mom chuckled to herself.

"Well FP and I go way back. I'm actually a serpent still you know?" Mom stated.

"Wow really? I actually didn't. That is super cool Mrs. Coleman." Sweet Pea said. My mother kindly smiled back.

"So Sweet Pea how are your grades?" She asked. I looked up at her with a small smile.

"They're okay. Probably could be a lot better." He said with an awkward chuckle.

The next day at school I met Sweet Pea in the student lounge. He was sitting there talking with Veronica, Jughead, and Toni. I walked over and sat next to Veronica with a smile.

"Milly! You didn't tell me that you were dating Sweet Pea!" Veronica squealed. I chuckled awkwardly.

"Hm. Yeah, sorry Roni it's kind of recent." I explained. She smiled and nodded.

"How about you and Sweet Pea come on a date with Jughead, Betty, Archie, and I! Doesn't that sound like fun? A cute little group thing?" She asked. I took a deep breath and nodded a little.

"Yeah sure. But I'm at my dad's this weekend Roni. Sorry." I said with a little shrug.

"Well then next weekend it is Mill. Okay?" She asked. I nodded. She squealed and clapped a little before leaving. I sat across from my serpent friends and crossed my arms.

"Sorry Cam." Toni said. I sighed and rolled my eyes while sinking into my seat.

On Friday when I got to Dad's I laid on my bed next to Scarlett. I laid there staring at the ceiling while she played on her tablet. There was then a knock at the door, Finn.

"Hey Scarly can I have a moment with Cam?" Finn asked. Scarlett with a smile got up and ran out of the room. He sat at the foot of the bed.

"What's wrong?" He asked. I just sighed. "Milly I'm not leaving until you use your words." I said. I groaned while sitting up.

"Betty knows I'm a serpent. And now Veronica wants to do a dumb group date thing with Sweet Pea and I with our other friends. And I don't like this mixing of my friends." I admitted. He just nodded.

"Don't you think it would be better if you just told them before they found out in a bad situation?" Finn asked. I groaned and put my head in my hands. "Well come on. Dad is almost done with dinner, and by that I mean he just came back from Pop's." He said while chuckling a little bit.

Next weekend on Saturday I spent with Veronica and Betty. Veronica had been planning this whole group date thing for a week, and today was the day.

"Oh my goodness I am so excited to see you and Sweet Pea together!" Veronica squealed. I just took a deep breath and nodded. Around 4 PM we started to get ready. Veronica was having us dress up very fancy. I texted Sweet Pea to make sure he was dressing accordingly, and having Jughead check on him.

I wore a red lace dress. With a pair of black heels that was strappy around my feet. A black gucci crossbody purse. Then a pair of small gold hoops

I waited in Veronica's living room for Betty and Veronica to finish getting ready. I was texting Sweet Pea nervously. I was pacing the living room and taking deep breaths. I eventually sat down and just went on my phone. Later there was a knock at the door. I got up and answered it, and standing there was Archie. I answered with a smile.

"Hi Archie." I said. He smiled back at me and walked in. I followed him back into the living room where we awkwardly sat.

"So you're dating Sweetpea?" He asked after a moment of awkward silence. I nodded.

"Yeah. It seems that way" I said. He chuckled at me. There was then another knock at the door. I stood up and answered the door, it was Jughead and Sweet Pea!

"Hi Camille." Jughead said as he walked in. I stood there smiling at Sweet Pea as he oogled at me. "Hey do you guys want to come sit down?" Jughead asked while closing the door. Betty and Veronica then walked into the room talking to each other.
