-"Skylar's" POV-
I turned around so I was facing Mrs. Cullen. "Look what you did!" I shouted at her as I approached her, "You made her run!"
"I made her realize the truth," She spat back at me, crossing her arms.
"Just because you may not want to keep your daughter safe from the Untimelys doesn't mean we don't," Anthony backed me up, walking up beside me.
"Oh, I want to keep her safe. But not from the Untimelys. From you."
"Why from us? We're not the enemies here!" I argued, "The Untimelys are! You are! Everyone in this room except the two of us, and maybe Death, are the enemies!"
She chuckled, "It's hilarious how you two still can't remember who you used to be." I titled my head to the side, confused. "You really still don't remember, do you?"
"Obviously not," Anthony said.
She shook her head, "Well, let me try to make you remind you. Do the names Scarlet, Axel, and Ike ring a bell?" I stared blankly at Mrs. Cullen. "Does 'The Infamous Three' ring a bell?" Still no response from either Anthony nor me. She sighed, "Okay, well, let me tell you. You three, including your friend 'Ian', who's been rightfully dealt with, were worse than the Untimelys. Worse." She began to pace back and forth.
"Where's Ian?" Anthony asked.
"Like I said, he's been rightfully dealt with."
"What does that mean?"
Mrs. Cullen stopped in her tracks before starting to pace again, "You three were going to take over the entire Underworld." Anthony rolled his eyes, annoyed she didn't answer his question. "I, along with the Untimelys, were ordered to stop you before you could execute your grand plan. Remember that?" No response from Anthony or me. "Well, we stopped you." She pivoted her entire body so she was facing us, "We captured you, and sentenced you to imprisonment for eternity. But before we could get you out of that holding cell to move you to where you would be held, you escaped. You somehow managed to slip through security and leave the Underworld, taking the bodies of three innocent children." She started walking around again. "You learned to behave like the age of the bodies you took. You learned to grow up as Skylar Gray, Anthony Padilla, and Ian Hecox. You made their parents very happy, they thought they were going to lose their children. You taking that sick child's body as your own made the parents think it was a miracle - they had their child back. But they didn't. They had you. Three fugitives from the Underworld."
"What does this have to do with us being the enemies?" I asked.
"As these new personas you took on, you befriended my daughter," She continued, ignoring my question. "Your foolish mistake. But I didn't expect any better from you, you completely forgot who you used to be. You got so into character that you didn't even recognize me."
"GET TO THE POINT!" Anthony shouted in frustration.
"You caught the Untimelys attention years ago. They were just waiting for the perfect moment to attack. Why I'm protecting my daughter from you is because if I didn't have any say against that crash happening, my daughter would've died. Because of you."
"We never meant to harm your daughter, Mrs. Cullen," I told her.
"Bull shit!" She screamed, pounding her hand down on the table in the center of the room, "Bull fucking shit. You three knew the Untimelys had caught on to your little plan. You knew my daughter wasn't like the rest of the kids. You didn't know how you knew because you pushed all recollection of the person you used to be to the back of your heads. So you took it upon yourselves to protect her. But instead, you almost killed her!"
"We didn't mean to!" Anthony cried, "I loved her, Mrs. Cullen! Why would I kill her?"
"You loved her?" She laughed heartily, "You didn't love her at all."
"Now that's bull shit!" Anthony took a step forward. I stuck my hand out, holding him back.
"It doesn't matter anymore though," Mrs. Cullen said as Anthony and me were handcuffed from behind by her Untimelys minions, "Because we've got you. After all these years."
"Let us go!" I cried, "Your daughter's in trouble!"
"Not anymore," She retorted, "Take them away." She ordered the Untimelys. They nodded their heads in understanding and teleported themselves and us to the Underworld. We were then pushed into a room where a thin long red line that stretched across the room and scanned our bodies up and down.
"Scarlet G. and Axel P.," An electronic female voice sounded. I shook my head as the Untimely came back in and dragged Anthony and me away, shoving us into another room. This one completely desolate except for one person - Ian.
"Guys!" He exclaimed as he stood up and pulled Anthony into a hug, moving over to me and doing the same, "I'm so glad to see you."
"Kalel's going to die out there without us," I commented, crossing my arms over my chest, "Her mom doesn't know what she's doing."
-Kalel's POV-
I was wandering through the woods, trying to find my way to the road so I could get a ride back home. But so far, I wasn't getting any progress. It didn't help that I couldn't stop thinking about what happened minutes ago. My friends weren't my friends. My life was a complete lie.
"Kalel!" I heard from behind me.
I turned around to see Death running after me. I shook my head in disappointment and continued trying to find my way out of wherever I was.
"Kalel!" He called again.
"Leave me alone!" I shouted back.
"No, you need to listen to me!" He screamed. I slowed down and spun around so I was facing him. He caught up with me and said, slightly out of breath, "Your friends....they're..."
"Not my friends. Yeah, I know." I turned back around.
"No! They're in danger!" He cried. I stopped and glanced slightly over my shoulder. "Your mom is the bad guy here. And even though Skylar isn't Skylar, and Anthony isn't Anthony, and Ian's not Ian, you care about them. I know you do. And I know they care about you too. So what if they're The Infamous Three?"
"The Infamous Three?" I repeated as I spun back around, "Who are they?"
His eyes widened, "You don't know about The Infamous Three?"
"No..."
"Oh. Well, that doesn't matter. Look, your mom's going to have them locked up forever if you don't come with me right now."
"So what if they're locked up? They're fugitives! They're in their rightful place..." I crossed my arms over my chest.
"Now you sound like your mom," He commented. I rolled my eyes. "Please, Kalel, The Infamous Three...they're not who they used to be anymore. They've changed for the better. And they want to protect you. And they have. If they didn't, you'd be dead by now. Now it's your turn to protect them."
"Why? They lied to me!"
"For your own good!"
"I don't care!" I cried, "I don't believe you either!" I shook my head, "I just want to go home and wake up from this nightmare..." I turned around and began walking away.
"Fine, Kalel!" He shouted after me, "Go do that! But when you realize this isn't just some nightmare and the Untimelys come and kill you, don't come crying to me!" I rolled my eyes and picked up my pace.
