BILL'S POV:
I woke up in my bed with my mom sitting next to me. "Mom?" I sat up and rubbed the back of my head. It was still aching. "Are you okay? What happened?" I looked at her and felt bad about making her worry. "Yeah. I'm fine. Felt down the steps. How long was I out?" She looked relieved and hugged me. "Just 10 minutes, Billy. I was about to take you to the hospital though."
I got up and told her I want to shower. She disagreed at first, saying she doesn't want me out of her sight but I just kept telling her I wad fine.
Stepping into my bathroom, I turned the shower on. Waiting for it to get hot, I stripped myself of my shirt and pants. Looking at the hand print on my shoulder. It was just red and and in some areas a light purple. It hurt to move that arm.
I proceeded to strip myself down from allmy clothes and tried to wash myself but that shoulder was hard to scrub and that arm, I couldn't move.
I dried myself off after the shower and just sat down on my toilet. Running my hand through my hair as I tried to calm down. I noticed something in my back pocket of my pants that were balled up on the ground.
I reached in and felt a stick and some paper. Pulling it out, it was a sticky note and s cigarette.
Incase you need to calm down :)

I twiddled the stick around, pondering if I should do it. Screw it. I went into my bedroom and attempted to get dressed. One handing to get pants and socks on were hard. But the shirt was the hardest, as I normally bend my arm but my shoulder was destroyed at this point. Finally, it slipped on.
Grabbing matches from my drawer, I lit one and brought over to the end of the stick. It took a couple tries but I finally got it. Bringing it to my mouth, I sucked in harder and watched the other end light in a fiery blaze.
As I blew out, I got into a coughing fit. Am I doing this right? Beverly can show me sometime. I used the rest of it, it felt like my lungs were on fire but my hand has stopped shaking.
I stepped out of my room and went downstairs. My mom was preparing dinner but I wasn't in the mood to eat. Saying goodbye, I exited the house. Riding my bike down the street, I heard my name called out.
I looked up and saw her. Audra. "Hey Billy! I was heading over to your place just now. My parents asked me to invite you and your friends over for dinner. They want to meet who you hangout with." Ignore the name... "Sounds great. You mean all the Losers, right Audra?" She hesitated for a second but nodded. "Of course. I'd love for that slut... 'oops.' Beverly, to come over." I clenched my fists but kept my voice calm. "Great! I'll t-t-tell them to b-buh-be there at 5!" She turned around and rode back to her house as I rode my bike to all the Losers.
Everyone had said yes. Not too enthusiastic of course and I had to beg them. But they said yes. Then I reached the final house. The single house that made me think this was such a bad idea. Don't do this too her. You know how you act around Audra.
I walked up to her door anyway. Lightly knocking and seeing her Aunt answer. "Hi, h-how are y-y-you?" She smiled and greeted me. "I'm very good, thank you. Are you one of Beverly's friends?" I just nodded and she welcomed me inside.
Beverly soon came walking around the corner of the hallway that led to her room. "Bill!" She rushed over and hugged me. Then I caught her Aunt's eye and let go quickly. She turned to her Aunt. "This is one of my close friends... that's all."BEVERLY'S POV:
"This is one of my close friends... that's all." Couldn't be further from the truth. I noticed my Aunt's gaze go to Bill's waist. Looking over I noticed my arm still wrapped around it. I blushed and took it off. "Well I'll leave you two to talk." And with that, my Aunt left the room.
I turned back to Bill and we hugged again. I noticed his right arm was not raising up to hug me, but I shrugged it off.
"What are you doing here?" We had just seen each other this morning, but I couldn't lie. I missed him. "Aud-dra has asked me to invite the entire Losers c-club to her house at 5. For dinner." I froze on the spot. Coldness rushing through my body and clouding my mind to learn all movements. My breath was stuck in my throat.
"I know how it s-sounds Bev. But she's asking for us all to c-come. I'd really appreciate if you came too." Those eyes. He was looking at me with those eyes. I couldn't stop from staring and all my senses returned. "Of course. Yeah. I'll be there for you Billy. What could go wrong?" He looked at me with such happiness. "Thank you Bev! You are truly amazing!" He gave me a kiss and I quickly pulled away, looking around for my Aunt.
When she wasn't there, I leaned back to him and reconnected our lips. I put one hand on his face and the other on his shoulder. As soon as I did, he winced. "Bill? What's wrong" His hand was on his shoulder but he just shook his head. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing." I grabbed his face, "It's not nothing. You're hurt aren't you?" I pulled him to my bedroom and sat him on my bed.
After removing his shirt, I gasped loudly at the mark on his shoulder. "Bill! Who did this?" I sat down next to him and he wrapped his free arm around me. "Don't worry about me, Beverly." How could I not? I'm always worrying about you. He suddenly stood up. "I really should get to Audra's soon. Help her family set up before dinner. Could you, help with my shirt?" I grinned as I wrapped his shirt gently on him. I button half of it up and then placed my lips on his collar bone. "Bev, I told you..." I stopped him with a playful slap and continued. Leaning back I finished buttoning him up. "Just the one... for now." I winked at him and he shook his head, heading for the door.
