Part 20

I stare at him not saying a word. I'm still trying to figure out if this is real if he is real.
   "What are you doing here," I say staring at my feet.
   "I was going to ask you that"He says.
I can tell he has a smile on his face. I look up and my eyes connect with his.
   "Maddox you can't be here." My voice cracks at the end. Don't cry Gen keep it together.
   "Gen I'm not leaving unless you come with me. I know I said some fucked up stuff and you have no reason to forgive me , but I love you and I can't live with out you. Please just give me a second chance."
I can feel the tears falling on my cheeks. All I want to do is kiss him and tell him to take me back to New York but I know why I really left.
   "Maddox I can't" I say still with tears falling.
   "Why?"
   "I can't tell you." I'm braking down at this point not even able to look at him. He pulls me into a hug and it just makes me cry harder.
"You have to tell me the truth Princess."
"Justin" I say, but it comes out as a whisper.
I feel him tense up at the sound of his name.
   "What about him?"
   "He came to the house. He said if I didn't brake up with you he would hurt you and the Recruits." I look up at him and can see is eyes went from light blue to almost black. I brake down crying again.
"Maddox, I am so sorry this is all my fault. I don't know why you would still want to be with me after all I've caused..."
"Princess, you didn't cause anything," He says cutting me off.
"You didn't know any of this was going to happen. Just come home with me and we will fix this." It sounded more of a plea then a statement. It was at that moment I realized that without each other we are both broken.
"Come inside" I say walking in the house.
He follows and I close the door behind us. I walk to the kitchen and start making a cup of tea. When I'm done I put one cup in front of Maddox and sit on the opposite end of the table.
"Are you going to come home with me?" He says looking up from his cup.
"I don't know."
"Gen we will figure this out you just have to give it a chance." He gets louder at the end. Him being frustrated just make me madder.
"What do you expect me to do Maddox. Just run away with you and just forget the fact that the man who has already almost killed me is trying to hurt us and our friends. You saw what happened to Twitch he could do that to any of us." I'm so mad I start cry but that's all I've been doing lately so I don't really care. I get up from the table and walk to the other side of the kitchen. I look out the window and try not to focus on Maddox even for just a moment. I snap out of my trance when I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"What are you doing?" I question my voice shaking every time his breath hits my neck.
He turns me around so I'm facing him.
"Maddox ..." Its all I could get out before I feel him tilt my head up to his. His face in barely an inch away from mine. He lowers head so the he is near my ear.
"Gen I need you tell me to not do this now, because if I do what I'm thinking I can't promise that I can stop myself." His gruff breathy whisper sends shivers down my spine. I open my mouth to tell him to don't but his lips graze my soft spot causing me to unintentionally moan. He moves his head till he is looking at me dead in the eyes. He looks like he is fighting himself internally arguing if this is really the right thing to do.
"Fuck it." He says and smashes his lips on mine. His tongue grazes across my bottom lip asking for entry which I grant immediately. My hands travel to his hair on instinct.
"Jump" He says in between kisses.
Next thing I know I'm being carried up the stairs to my room. Luckily it still has a big G on it from high school so it wasn't to hard for Maddox to find. He places me on the ground and I take his shirt off. He does the same and throws my shirt somewhere in the corner of my room.
His lips reattach to mine instantly. I feel the side of the bed hit the back for my knees as we fall on the bed.
He stops kissing me and we just stay there looking at each other.
   "Princess"
   "Yes"
   "Be mine again"
   "Ok"
