Almost a week has passed since what happened with Sawyer and he hasn't shown up at all. Georgie knew he wouldn't give up on getting what he wants, he seemed like the persistent type.

She wasn't completely worried about that though. Her dreams have been getting stranger and stranger to the point where she feels like they're more of nightmares.

A few times Georgie's dreams consisted of Alpha Lucas (Jessica and Jake's Alpha). She didn't know why she was having dreams about him. It was just something about those piercing blue eyes.

It was always a strange dream when Alpha Lucas appeared in them. Every time she would dream of him, his deep voice would repeat the same words:

"You're mine. You belong to me."

But one of her worst dreams, she had a vivid image of a beautiful brown and black wolf fighting someone who Georgie somehow knew was a vampire in the woods at night. The vampire, whose face was concealed by shadows, lunged at the wolf, its fangs bared. The fight went on before the wolf finally fell to the ground from exhaustion.

During that dream all Georgie could hear was the fast pace beating of the wolf's heart. It had slowed down significantly when the wolf fell. It didn't stop, so Georgie knew it was still alive. How she actually knew it was the wolf's and not her own, she still wondered that herself.

Blood was pouring out of a wound on its side as it laid on the ground, panting heavily in ragged breaths.

Something had made the vampire flee because when the wolf fell, the vampire retreated into the shadows.

Georgie could actually smell the metallic scent of blood mixed with the scent of pine. It was so strong that even when she woke up, the smell lingered in her nostrils.

Georgie didn't tell Jessica or anyone else about the dreams. She felt as if she was just paranoid. The dream about the vampire attacking the wolf could've been about how she's been thinking of the vampire attacks. And the one about Alpha Lucas was just plain embarrassing so she decided to keep that to herself.

Georgie tried pretending that she was fine and nothing was occupying her mind, but she knew Jessica and Jake suspected something. Though they never said anything.

Georgie thought it was time for Jake to meet her grandparents as he had mentioned something about it and her Nana called her recently wanting to meet Jake.

So on a day when Jake wasn't busy and was able to take the whole weekend off (which seemed a little strange since he was the Beta), he and Georgie packed a bag with some clothes since they decided to stay over there for a few days.

Georgie's Nana and Papa lived in the neighboring city which was only a few hours drive.

"Do you think they'll like me?" Jake asked, glancing at Georgie from the corner of his eye while he was driving.

"Probably," Georgie shrugged, a smile plastered on her face.

"Probably doesn't help ease my nerves. Are they nice?"

"Well duh. How else would I have turned out so amazing?" Georgie rolled her eyes.

Jake laughed. "I guess you're right."

"I swear when I get back home and Jessica's wrecked the whole house, I'm kicking her out," Georgie said, raising her sunglasses to rest on the top of her head. "She just texted me asking if I'd be mad if she accidentally flooded or set the house on fire."

"Accidentally flood the house? How the hell would she do that?"

"I don't know, it's Jessica who we're talking about."
