A Friends Promise (Izuku Midoriya x reader)

~The Letter~

(Y/n)'s POV

After getting let out of the hospital, and avoiding news reporters. Along with a ride from the police home.

I'm finally home..

My body is still sore from the fight. After all, I was pretty much thrown into a wall at full force. So I'm obviously going to be in pain for a while.

God I wonder what my parents are going to say to me. They had visited me when I was still unconscious, but I still have yet to know how they reacted. I think as I walk up to my apartment complex, the apartment building in front of izukus. I open the door and walk in. Within seconds of walking in my parents hug me almost immediately.

"(Y/n), were so glad you're okay!" My mother cried and my father smiled at me. My parents are pro heroes, so fighting crime and doing hero work has been their passion for as long as I can remember. I can see pride fill my dads smile.

"You did good." My father beamed as he hugged me again.

I didn't think I would get praised for this.. my own parents. I'm sure they worried but- at this point, Izuku scolded me more than they did. But then again, I can't imagine how scared he must feel in a dangerous world like this.. living without a quirk. I don't know.. all I know is that I am alive, those children are safe, my parents are proud.... and Izuku...... is genuinely worried about me.

God I love that dorky green haired boy.

"Hun, I think you should go lie down. Doctor says you still need to take it easy!" My mother pats my head. I'm not at all tired, but I think taking it easy is the best thing to do.

"Alright mom." I smile as I walk to my bedroom, I open the door and walk in.

My room has a very geeky vibe to it. Mainly a mixture of posters of my two favorite heroes. All Might obviously, and Hawks: The winged hero, I've looked up to him forever, since we share such similar quirks. Ive always wondered if I could ever be as amazing as him! I sit on my bed and pull out my phone, the second I pick it up I feel a vibration from my phone. It's izuku!

Izuku: Hey, just checking in on you! Did you make it back home safe?

God he is the sweetest human on the goddamned planet. I begin to type on my phone.

Yeah I'm home, Thanks for visiting me, it meant a lot: (y/n)

Izuku: I'd visit you anytime, I just don't want you to get hurt anymore! I worry about you sometimes!

Yeah I know. But being a hero involves taking those risks!: me

Izuku: Alright good point. Also, I'll come over later to visit you okay? I'll bring some dinner and we can hang out.

I'd like that. I'll see you then!

That followed by a spam of heart emojis. He's so adorable.. I sit in silence gushing over my adorable boyfriend until hearing a loud bang from outside my room followed by a wave of cheers from my parents, I could hear them running to my room and then start to bang on my door.

"(Y/N)!! OH MY GOD ITS A LETTER!" My mom screamed, slamming open the door.

"ITS FROM U.A." My father added, jumping up and down with my mother.
