A Friends Promise (Izuku Midoriya x reader)

A/N: This chapter takes place in the first episode, and follows most events from that, then I will branch off of the main story a little bit! the next few chapters will be mostly of (y/n) and less of Midoriya. Big things coming next chapter! I will also start doing POV chapters and sections as well.

//years later, Midoriya and Y/N Have been in a relationship for about 3 months//

"(Y/n)! Hurry up! I wanna see which heroes will show up!!" Izuku yelled, (y/n) following shortly behind him.

"You have the notebook right?" (Y/n) asked, picking up the pace, catching up to him.

"Yep!!"

"That's a lot of damage!" (Y/n) claims.

"Oh wow, it is!! Do you think the heroes have already shown up?" Izuku asks finally getting to the scene with (y/n). A crowd already formed around the villain.

"What the hell happened?" A civilian asked.

"Just some amateur, got mad and went crazy. Pretty stupid if you ask me." Another civilian replied, shaking his head in disappointment.

As more and more heroes show up, the more excited Izuku and (y/n) get. Totally fanning out. (Y/n) cheering on the heroes as Izuku excitedly writes info in his notebook.

"I know what you two are!" A middle aged man exclaimed "fanfolk!"

"I guess you could say that." Izuku grinned, turning red faced.

Out of nowhere a gigantic woman with blonde hair and purple horns comes to the scene, taking down the villain in seconds, stealing all the thunder from the other pro heroes at the scene. Reporters gather around, all trying to get a shot of the woman's behind.

"Hello everyone! I'm Mt. Lady!" The giant of a woman introduces, slowly shrinking down into normal size. Taking care of the villain and talking to police. As reporters and civilians leave, Izuku writes notes in his book, (y/n) helping him.

"You two wanna be heroes?" The same man from earlier asks the two.

"Yes!!! More than anything!" The two smile, before walking off.

"That was cool! Wasn't it Izuku!?" (Y/n) gushed, staring at the green haired boy. He nods, not adding as much excitement as earlier, more or less in deeper thought.

"How the hell am I going to get into U.A without a quirk!? I mean, you're probably going to get in based on recommendations anyways, people adore you! Plus you have an amazing quirk, do you even think I stand a chance? what if I slip up, and is it even allowed?! I mean I looked it up bu-

"You're rambling again, Izuku." (Y/n) giggled.

"S-sorry!!!" Izuku stammered, blushing in embarrassment.

"Dude, it's okay!' You know I don't mind! But anyways, I really do think you can get in, I'm not lying, I believe in you and know you can do it. Like come on- look at that damn notebook, that's your 13th one! You know heroes probably more than they know themselves! I really do think you can do it." (Y/n) reassured.

"You're amazing.." izuku mumbled.

"You are too Izuku, I know you don't see it. But I see so much in you, and I'll remind you every day until you figure that out." (Y/n) smiled, taking hold of izuku's hand.
