Chapter 4

KAYA

I looked at Zuko and clenched my teeth. I am utterly disgusted by this teenager. He is 4 years older but he is capable of so much.

I turned to face Aang, "This is my fight. Don't worry about me just go practice water bending somewhere else."

Aang obediently left Zuko and I alone.

"Oh Kaya, I never thought that scar on your arm would leave." Zuko said.

"It healed." I replied blatantly.

"What a proud moment of mine. Hurting one of the Avatars. Of course you were little then."

"Be quiet Zuko. You know what else you did."

"Right! Take you from your air temple at age eight! Another proud moment." He continued to sneer.

"But I didn't die like your plan originally was." I said.

"But who said you will survive now?" Zuko said.

With that I breathed and fired a fire ball in Zuko's face. Blocking the attack he smirked. He kicked his legs under mine so he would trip me and it worked.

Falling to the ground, I grabbed the Earth under me and made a shield while preparing some earth balls.

Ready, I bended the earth balls into shards and threw them at Zuko.

"Wait, you can Earth bend too?" He asked in shock.

"I have been like everywhere." I responded making an air ball and compacting it with water, earth and fire, "thanks to your 'deadly' plan."

I was ready to strike but Zuko had left. Throwing my awesomeness weapon to the ground I reached for my glider.

Big mistake.

A net encased my body and I burned it with my fire bending. But guards surrounded me.

Well, time to make a run for it.

I pushed past guards as my headband flew off. I ran like the wind and bumped into more guards.

I fired a fire ball at them and they fell immediately. In the distance, I saw guards catching up and I smirked.

Making a deep hole in the ground I cover it with leaves and waited. The guards went falling in and it was only Zuko and I.

"Impressive." Zuko said.

"Just don't come near me or Aang." I replied with iron force in every word I speak. My hands were in tight fists now have fire shooting out from under me making me hover.

"Aang is your boyfriend now huh?" Zuko said.

"He is not my boyfriend."

"Aw, it was meant to be anyway"

"Zuko I insist you stop."

"Make me."

"No"

"Fine if he isn't your boyfriend then you wouldn't care about him heading to the fire nation right now."

Out of surprise and disgust I walked toward Zuko. But Zuko had all my moves planned out. When I walked toward him I fell into my own trap.

I fell with the other guards and I looked up only to see Zuko smiling.

"Just kidding." Then he walked away.

The guards tied me up with rope and blindfolded me. I heard something in the distance and I smiled.

Aang.

I felt some men grunting and falling to the ground. One of them even tried to keep me away from Aang but he fell too.

But then Aang punched me in places and I was paralyzed for a moment.

But, Aang would never do that.

'Aang' took off my blindfold and I gasped.

That wasn't Aang.
