"Open the hatch! I've got a passenger!" Jake shouted to the lowering helicopter. Ebony looked back and saw the guards had stopped, no... They were doing something else. Loading something. Her face turned pale as Jake loaded her into the helicopter "We need to leave like NOW" She screamed over the helicopter blades. She pointed to behind him as he climbed on and  his face went white as a sheet. "Take off!! Go at full speed! They have the radi gun!" He shouted and all the flight crew shrieked in fear.

The helicopter finally got into the air, but it was too late. The guards had already loaded the gun and were aiming at them. Ebony was trembling with utter horror at the thought of dying so early.

That's when her brain snapped to attention, she stood up and looked around the helicopter. "Where are the guns?" She asked Jake and he pointed to the back of the helicopter. She strode back and pulled out, what looked like, a ray gun.
She slapped Jake upside the head and told him "Hold my legs and grab onto something, I'm gonna end them before they can end us." She said kneeling on the ground and laying down. Jake looked at her and nodded, his expression going from terrified to attentive. He grabbed onto one of the seats and latched his arm around her foot. "What do you want the crew to do?" He asked as he watched her lock and load.

"Keep the helicopter flying in a circle. It'll make it hard for them to shoot that thing, and it'll be easier for me to shoot them" She said placing her finger on the trigger. She looked from the side of the gun and slammed her finger on the trigger. The gun fired up and shot a beam of green light, decimating the area where she shot.

"WHERE ARE YOU AIMING?!" Jake screamed and hit her calf "I thought you knew how to work a gun?!"

"Shut up rat pack! I'm only 16! What girl knows how to work a gun at 16?!" She shouted back and shot again, missing the radi gun by inches. "One more shot and that's all the juice it has left!" Jake shouted. "We need those guns!"

She bit her lip and slammed her finger on the trigger again, hitting the radi gun and a few guards as well. She watches as it all went up in flames, letting out a sigh of relief as the job was done. She got up as the helicopter began to straighten out and fly forward.

Jake looked at her with such fury and delight that she couldn't tell whether to be afraid or embarrassed. He sighed and paced back and forth. "That was amazing... It was also stupid, now we have one less gun for the revolution" He said with a glare. "But we're alive, so I'll let this one go. But no more acting out, your under my orders now" He said sitting at the front with the pilot. She nodded and put the ammo-less gun back where it belonged. She sat down with a trembling sigh and put her head in her hands.

"Good job at staying alive, Ebony"

She looked up to see Jake looking at her with a nod of appreciation. She smiled and relaxed. She'd be Ok, as long as she stayed alive. Yeah, as long as she stayed alive.

Oh god what have I gotten myself into?
