Chapter 2: Interrogation

Tulane's Pov

I groaned, my head hurt so much. I slowly opened my eyes, where am I? I heard voices but I couldn't make it out, all I heard was ringing.

"Tulane. Tulane. Tulane!" I heard the ringing slowly ceasing. Kuzon was in my face, asking a lot of questions but I only managed to hear a few.

"What are you doing here? How were you following me? Are you okay?" He was talking too fast I couldn't respond, all I could focus on was the pain, I could hardly speak but I managed to say something.

"Rocks" I squeezed out. He tilted his head then he realized what I was talking about.

"Toph loosen the rocks" he said

"Why don't you do it twinkle toes?" I tiredly looked over and I saw, a GIRL! The greatest mystery of my life has been solved! OH YES! Phew.

" Because I don't want to crush her " he tried to reason.

"Do. It." 

"But-"

"Come on twinkle toes when I teach you something I expect you to remember it. Now! DO. IT!"

"Okay," he stood back and the rocks ran away from my body. It loosened too much too fast. Without the rocks holding me up I immediately fell to the ground. Once he realized his mistake he and other people ran to my side. Before my head hit the ground a guy had caught me just in time but my head still jerked sending a spike of pain.

"Ah my head" I groaned. The guy that helped me I assumed was Sokka.

Then a girls hand touched my shoulder,"Are you okay?" I looked over at her and sat up using my right arm," I'm fine I just fell really hard. Why are you so close? Back up."

"Oh sorry" she backed up. I was breathing in and out squeezing my arm trying to make it feel better but it didn't work but a little bit. I looked down and saw I had dirt covering my arms and legs along with minor scrapes but they still hurt like hell.

"Let me help" she touched my arm and I backed away in pain.

"It's okay" she gave me a reassuring look and I let go of my arm letting her see. Then she grabbed my arm carefully and inspected it.

"Aang, bring me my water" she looked back at me with caring eyes I got lost in the cool bright blue eyes,  I quickly redirected my eyes.

"Here you go " he handed her the water then looked at me.

"Sorry, my earth bending still needs a little practice" I remained silent.

Then that boy Sokka spoke," Sooo who are you?" I paused I was looking at the ground I didn't know what to say then Ku- I mean Aang spoke.

"You're that girl at school. Tulane?" I nodded then Sokka asked me a question, "How long were you here?"

I finally spoke, "I followed Ku or uh apparently Aang ever since he stopped playing 'Hide and Explode'"

Aang looked nervous," So you've been here the whole time?"

"Yeah.. I needed you tell me what colony you came from, but I obviously know the answer now." I said in a sarcastic tone.
