Chapter 8

Okay Aang, Katara, and Sokka are at the confrence that's one thing checked off my check list.

A/N LOL I was trying to find the whole confrence clip but I couldn't. Since Tulane won't be there I just used the clip because it is hilarious. I love Sokka's acting!

Now the next is to tell Daichi I'm leaving today or tomorrow. Without checking the sundial I can tall it's six because the beautiful sunset. I sigh knowing I have to pack fast because curfew is in an hour. As I'm walking I hear someone call my name I turn to see OnJi jogging to catch up.

"Hey Tulane. Why are you running? Couldn't you hear me calling you?" She says catching her breath. Hmm I guess when I'm really focased on something I don't notice my surroundings.

"Did you know you run really fast?" She said between breaths.

"I was trying to get home before the sun sets all the way." I lied

"I need to talk to you. I haven't been able to find you anywhere the last time I saw you you were running with Kuzon. Where were you two going?"

"I um well, we were. . . we were-"

"No need to make up a lie if you don't want to tell me it's okay."

I smiled, "Thanks On Ji!"

"One question though, was what the head master say true?"

I frowned," Yeah. But I don't live in the orphanage down the street or anything. I have a older brother that takes care of me."

"How old is he?" She asked curiously.

" 20" I say shrugging my shoulders. Then to my astonishment, I saw the sun was almost down.  I can't believe I stopped to talk to her when I should be spending time with Daichi!

"I got to go. My brothers probably wondering where I am" I explained jogging away.

"Okay" I heard her yell behind me.

I ran a few blocks and I began to go over what I should say to my brother. 'Hey Daichi. I'm leaving! Did I mention I love you?  Oh why can't life be easier?

"Daichi!" I yell walking in the front door," Are you home?"

"Dai-" I walk into my room and and there is a single bag on my bed and everything else in my room was packed in crates. I look around my room nothing on my floor but Ming Ming's cage and my bed.

Clueless I walk around my house looking for my brother,"Daichi!" I yell.

Then I find him in his bedroom folding some of his clothes,"Daichi?"'

"Yeah?" He turns around clueless that I have been calling him,"Didn't you hear me calling your name?!" As I was scolding him for not acnolaging me I stop and think wow de ja vu. Now I know how Aang and On Ji felt.

"You packed my bag?"

He shrugged,"Yeah being the avatar he doesn't just stay in one place for too long. When are you leaving?"

"Today or tomorrow, but I kinda thought-"

"Thought what?"

"That I don't know would miss me before I leave. I mean just even a little bit."

"Of coarse I do,  just.. mentally."

I rolled my eyes," Mr tough guy" then we heard a knock on our door.
