"Come with me" the doctor says leading David into her room. As he opens the door he sees Liza with a couple of IVs connected. "She's a little weak but she's okay. Since her body is so small she couldn't handle giving birth but she made it and so did the baby" Doctor Hersh said and David let out a huge breath.

"Thank god, thank you Doctor Hersh" David said with his eyes tearing up once again. "No problem, be easy" He says and walks out the room. David goes up to Liza and holds her hand. "Thank god you're alive, I don't know what I would've done if I had to raise my baby by myself" He whispers and Liza moves around the bed.

"David? What's wrong why are you crying?" She asks. "I thought you were gone" He says "What I'm right here" she answers. "No" he laughs "I mean I thought you were-" he pauses for a second. "Dead" He says quietly. "Well I'm right here" she says softly smiling. "Where's my baby?" "They're bringing her up in a bit" he answers.

"What are you naming her?" David asks. "Jade"  Liza says with a smile. "Why jade?" David asks curiously. "When my mom was still around, she got pregnant and she wanted to name her Jade. But she had miscarriage. It was so devastating and she wouldn't come out of her room for weeks. Until one day she killed herself. She thought she was an unfit mother because she couldn't keep the baby. But she was all wrong. So this baby is for my mom" Liza says as she doesn't realize that she was crying a bit.

"Liza that's terrible, but I'm glad you're doing that" he says. "Thanks". They stay quiet for a while before Dr.Hersh comes in and gives them some paper work-along with the birth certificate. "Am I uh.." David said nervously. "What?" Liza questioned. "Am I signing the birth certificate..?" He says shyly.

"Dave can we talk for a moment" she says and he nods. "I know I said I didn't want you in the picture but I would never take your child away from you. That's terrible. I said all those stuff because I was mad at you. But I want you to be in her life more than anything" she says softly and David smiles. "Thank you" He says.

*15 minuets later*
As Scotty, Kristen, Liza, David and baby Jade are together they all talk about how exciting the baby is going to make their lives. "Wait David don't you have a girlfriend?" Kristen asks. "Uhh-yea.." He says scratching his neck.

"I'll pray for you" Scotty says and everyone laughs. "Yeah how are you guys going to tell your parents?" Kristen asks. "I don't think I'll be telling my dad" Liza says. "My parents.. uh I don't know.." David also answers.

*That night*
David is sleeping over the night at the hospital so it's the three of them. "Hey Liza?" David says out of no where. "Yeah?" There was a pause.

"Since we have Jade, are we like.. together?" He asks. "Well no, I mean we barley know each other. But we're together for Jade. I understand though that you have a girlfriend so..yeah" Liza responds. "Yeah, yeah of course" David said.

*3 Days Later*
"Welcome home Jade!" Liza says carrying her little girl in her hands as David helps with carrying her stuff. "Woah Liza you have a big house" he says and Liza laughs. "Well my mom was a lawyer" she says while settling down.

"Can I ask you something?" David says. "Yeah go ahead". "What happened to your dad? Why aren't you telling him about Jade?" He says. "Well, when my mom died, he got really depressed. So he started traveling-leaving my sister Rachel and I alone all the time. My oldest sister Olivia was already in college so she was gone. Soon, Rachel moved out and it was only me. I've been living on my own for a while now" Liza answers and David sits there in awe.

"Wow" is all he says. "I know-sad yeah yeah but it's reality for me so I kinda have to live with what I got" Liza says laying her head on one of the pillows of her expensive couch. "What about you Dobrik? What's your family like?". "Well, I have a mom and a dad" "can't relate" Liza jokes as David chuckles. "And I have three other siblings, Ester the oldest, Sara the middle and Toby the youngest" he finishes.

"Aw that's cute" Liza says laying down with Jade in her arms. "I guess, they can be annoying at times" David says and Liza shrugs.

"So back on the topic of parents-how are you going to tell yours at you got a girl pregnant and now have a whole child might I ask?" Liza says laughing. "I have no idea, I mean they know about Angela so they'll get mad if they know I cheated on her" he says.

"Well that seems bad" Liza teases and David rolls his eyes jokingly. "Yeah" He says running his hands through his hair.

That night David and Liza talked about everything there is to talk about. They quickly became best friends. They laughed until they cried and let each other cry until they laughed. It's amazing to see how strangers can become the best of friends ever. They talked for hours and they got along better than ever.

"Oh crap it's about to be midnight" David laughs rubbing his eyes. "Yeah I guess it is" Liza says yawning. The two gets up from the couch and walks to the door. "I had a good time Liza" David said smiling and Liza smiles softly. "I did too Dobrik, who knew it took us a baby to get close to each other" she jokes. "Bye Liza"
He whispers and she smiles closing the door.
