You can Talk to Me Ch.4

Liza woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs being cooked downstairs. She rolled over to face the door as she looked at the time.

7:43pm

She softly smiled to herself before getting out of bed. When she went downstairs she found Jade in her playpen and David in the kitchen trying his best not to burn the food.

"Hey" Liza said leaning her body on the counter facing David. "Hi" he said as he places the scrambled eggs and bacon onto a plate. Liza took a seat at the counter and smiled again. He pulled out orange juice and served a cup. He put a fork on the plate of food as he got an orange flavored popsicle from the freezer.

"Enjoy!" He says as he takes the rapping paper off the popsicle. "You're having a popsicle for breakfast when you made this amazing thing? I knew you didn't like breakfast and here I thought it was because you didn't know how to make it" Liza says jokingly as she takes a bite out of the bacon.

"I learned a thing or two from watching my mom cook" he says winking. As they enjoy their meals-well David didn't have much of a meal, they talk about random stuff until David brings up the Twitter account.

"Liza, I found the Twitter account and-" "David don't worry about it I'm fine" she says and David doesn't buy it. "Okay fine, but just know that me, Jade, and all your friends love you deeply. Okay?" He says grabbing her hand. "Okay" she says smiling softly.

"I should start going" David says as Liza nods and picks up Jade to start feeding her. The two say their goodbyes as David heads off for school.

*At School*
"Hey Davey" Angela says linking her hands with his. "Sup" He says. "Look-I'm going to get straight to the point and ask what's going on with you? You've been so distant" she says and David gets nervous. "Yeah, I've just had a lot of stuff happen recently and I needed some space to myself" He says and she nods. "Anything you need to talk about? I'm always here you know" she says putting her hand on his shoulder. "Yeah I know" he says.

"Okay good" she says and kisses him in the cheek. "Do you think you could hang out with me tonight?" She asks and David thinks for a bit.

"We're together for Jade, I understand though that you have a girlfriend"

"Yeah sure, let's hang out" David said smiling a bit. "Perfect" she says pecking David on the lips and walking away, her long reddish brown hair swaying back and forth.

David and Angela laugh before they start making out in the middle of the parking lot. He presses her lightly against a random car before hearing it unlock. They keep kissing though, until they hear a person clear their throat trying to get their attention.

That's when David's eyes met Liza's. "Sorry to interrupt but you're on my car" Liza says quietly. "Sorry Liza! But oh my god is that your baby?! Can I see her?" Angela said as her hazel eyes light up at Jade. "Sure" Liza said and took Jade out from her stroller. "Aw she's adorable" she says gushing.

"Thank you" Liza says smiling a bit. "Well I should get going" she says. "Yeah we should too, David and I are gonna hang out-see you around Liza!" Angela said smiling as she walks to David's car. Liza had a hurt look on her face but quickly changed it noticing that David was looking at her.

"Liza we can hang out if you want-" "No no no, go hang out with your girlfriend-I was planning on spending some time with Jade anyway" she says fake smiling as she quickly gets in her car before David can say anymore.
