What they're Saying Ch.3

David woke up that morning a little more preppy than usual. He puts his black shirt and black pants and infamous Vans. He smiles to himself as he puts cologne on. He takes his empty book bag considering it's the last week of school. He walks down to the dining room and pulls out a Chex Mix box of cereal. He makes himself a bowl and scarfs it all down.

"David you're up bright and early, you don't have to leave for school for another half hour" Mrs.Dobrik says smiling. "Yup" he replies. "How come?" She asks and David shrugs. "I'm just excited for school I guess" "Yeah right" Ester says rolling her eyes. "Shut up Ester" he says. "You shut up loser" "Okay that's enough you two!" Their mother told them. "David since you're early can you be a dear and drop off your siblings to school please?" She says and David groans.

"Why can't you do it?" He says. "What did you just say?" Mrs.Dobrik asks with her eyes staring David down. "I-I said I'd love to" he quickly fixes and Ester snickers. "Okay Sara, Toby let's go!" David says putting his now empty bowl of cereal in the sink.

When all the kids pile in the car Ester and Sara fight about who gets shotgun. "You got to last time!" Sara says. "Yeah well I'm the oldest" Ester argues. "Hey hey hey! It's my car so I decide who's sitting shotgun" both girls look at David expectingly. "Toby you're sitting shotgun" David says with a smirk as Toby makes his way.

"He's nine!" Ester says. "Yeah and I'm seventeen now go to the back" he says. As he drops off all his siblings he makes his way to Liza's house. He has a huge smile on his face as he walks up to the door and knocks. After a minute he knocks again and sends Liza a text.

Soon enough Liza opens the door in pajamas and hair in a bun. "David what are you doing here?" She asks sleepily. "I'm here to pick you up" he says with a perky smile. "Dave, I'm not going to school-it's the last week of school and I have a baby I need to take care of. She's not even a week old" Liza says.

"Oh, okay I guess.. but you're going to the dance right?" He questioned. "Yeah no definitely not" Liza said laughing. "Why not?"
He asks. "People, that's why" she says simply. "You're going to the dance just you watch" David challenges. "Yeah okay Dobrik" she laughs.

"Okay well I'm going to school now, bye" David says and Liza waves and closes the door. When David arrives to school he parks and hops out.

He catches up with Kristen and Scotty as they make their way to their lockers. "Hey David, you're in a good mood" Kristen says. "Yeah" he says quietly. "Hey did you guys hear Liza gave birth?" Todd says popping in.

"Yeah we did" Scotty answers. "It's sad that she doesn't have the dad with her. But then again she is.." Todd says trailing off. "What? She's what?" David asks balling his hands into a fist. "Well you know" he says. "No I don't Todd" David answers. "She's a slut" Todd says shrugging his shoulders. David clenched his jaw before he grabbed Todd by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against one of the lockers.

"Don't you ever say that about her again Todd cause I swear to god I'll beat the shit out of you" he threatens. "Okay okay, I won't dude get off me" Todd says and David lets go.

"Woah David what was that?" Kristen asked. "I.. I don't know" David says calming down.

*Lunch*
When David was on his way to lunch he was stopped by Angela. "Hey babe" she says to him kissing his cheek. "Uh hey Angela". "We haven't hung out just the two of us in a while-let's do it tonight" she suggests. "Actually Angela I have to tell you something important" David says nervously.

"What is it?" She asks. David hesitates but before he can say anymore, the fire alarm gets pulled. Obnoxious blaring comes from the fire alarm as everyone evacuated the building.

"Come on I was just about to get my burger" Scotty complained once they were outside. David looked around and saw the principal talking into a walkie-talkie. David decided to ask him what's wrong. "Principal Brook, whats going on?" "Some delinquent thought it'd be funny pulling the fire alarm. But I'm dismissing everyone now so you can go home" He says.

*17 minuets later*
When David arrives at Liza's house he yet again perkily knocks on her door. She opens it with Jade in her arms. "What's up Dobrik, why aren't you in school?" She asks opening the door wider for David to walk in. "Got dismissed early-someone pulled the fire alarm". Liza "oh's" as she gives David a bottle of water.

"How's my girl doing?" David asks and Liza sits up on the couch with Jade in between them. "I've been good- a little tired" "Oh I was talking about Jade.." David said and there was a very awkward pause. "Right-sorry" Liza says red faced. "I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick" Liza says and rushes to the bathroom embarrassed.

David mentally faced palmed himself as he hears the bathroom door shut. He picks up Jade and admires how much she looks like Liza. Jade had her dark brown eyes and had her nose. But she had his cheeks and more of his skin tone skin tone. She had David's eye shape and Liza's lips. A minute later Liza comes out and she sits on the couch again, her full attention to her phone. David ignores it at first until he hears a sniffle come from her. He raises his gaze from Jade to Liza and finds her crying.

"Liza what's wrong" he says instantly pulling Liza closer to him. "Nothing-it's nothing" she says wiping her tears, clearly embarrassed that she was crying in front of David. "Liza show me your phone" he says softly. "No David it's fine I just saw a sad video that's it. I'm good I promise" Liza says and plasters a weak smile on her face. David doesn't buy it but he leaves it alone anyway.

"Hey I'm starving let's order some pizza" Liza offers and David quickly nods his head. They eat pizza, talk, laugh, and learn how to change Jade's diaper. David even saw Liza feed her for the first time.

*10:48 pm*
"Hey you wanna watch a movie or something?" Liza suggests. "Yeah of course" he says as they pick a movie for the three of them to watch. David watches as the light from the TV hits Liza's face beautifully. He watches her more than he watched the movie.

Soon, in the middle of the movie both girls fell asleep on the couch. David was about to turn it off when he remembered about Liza crying earlier. He grabbed her phone and put in the password that she told him since they've gotten so close. He checked everything until he found a Twitter account named; "Liza the big fat Slut" 

On the page there were tweets talking about Liza being a slut and a bad person and that she'd rot in hell because she had sex before marriage.

The things they were writing were brutal. David looked back at the sleeping Liza and turned off her phone. He picked up Jade and put her into her crib. After he did so he picked up Liza and put her in her bed. He turned everything off and took of his shirt and laid in bed with Liza. Liza shuffled around until she moved closer to David's body. He then pulled her closer keeping his arm around her waist and kissed her head softly before drifting to sleep.
