My mother held my hair up as I threw up in the toilet. "It's okay get it all up." She said rubbing small circles in my back.

I got off my knees and reached for my tooth brush and toothpaste. "Sandino told me Hazel been by last night." I rolled my eyes. I knew my mother was going to say something negative about her.

"I bet she's still begging for money huh?" I spit the toothpaste out of my mouth. "No I actually offered her money. It's really cruel how you guys won't help her. Stop acting like that towards her. She didn't ask to be here if anything you should have kept your legs closed. What her father did to you doesn't mean you have to punish her all her life."

I felt my face hot on my left side as she slapped me. "Don't you dare question me about how I raised my child! You better be glad I didn't put you on your ass!" She stormed out of the bathroom.

I stormed out after her. "Like you did to her?" I said putting my hands on my hips. She laughed. "Your so dumb August! You know you wouldn't have none of this without me?" She said motioning toward the things around us.

"Without you? You mean I wouldn't have anything without my daddy. After all he was the one who gave it to you and I will tell him about how you been treating Hazel and taking his money for granted."

I reached in my pocket for my phone and dialed my fathers number. "Daddy! Your little wife has been taking over your money."

I opened the door for my daddy as he came storming in. "Priscilla? Why the hell is three million taken from my damn accounts? And what's this I'm hearing about you not treating them equally?" He shook his head. They both stared at each other before I seen my father reach other and smack my mother down.

"Answer when I'm speaking to you Damnit." He grabbed her ring off her finger. "What did I tell you last time you treated them different?" He said folding his arms.

"You said you were going to divorce me." She mumbled still laying on the floor. "Glad you still remembered. You better get in touch with your other family members and tell them you going back home. And I'm cleaning out your accounts too so your daughter can pay off her debt and get her something she can afford."

Me and August drove over to where Hazel's apartment was. we got out of the car and went upstairs to where her door was located. I knocked first then August.

I seen Hazel open the door with her pajamas on. I looked at my watch. 11:29

"Sorry to be coming by so late." I said hugging her then walking inside. I sat down on the couch making myself comfortable as she just watched me.

"I cleaned out Pricilla's accounts and I'm givin' you 30 mil so you can get yourself situated. I just want to say I'm sorry Babygirl. I wasn't aware you were bein' treated like that. August told me how she was treating you and now I'm getting a divorce."

I put the black card on her table and got up to hug her as she cried. I kissed her cheek and watched as the two hugged each other.
