Ava.
We landed in Jamaica and it was prettier than ever. The weather was perfect and and the water was gleaming. We took an Uber to Hazel's dads house. "Hey Mr. Omari" I said to Hazel's dad. He waved at me and hugged his daughter. "I'm so glad you guys could make it" He welcomed us into his house and it was beautiful. "Ariana isn't here as you can see. Since we're getting married Saturday we're trying to not cause bad luck." He walked us up the stairs and we stopped at these glass doors. "Here's the room you guys will be staying in. The other rooms are being cleaned up by our maids so this is all that's available." I nodded my head.Hazel.
"Um daddy do you happen to have an extra seat? This guy wanted to come down here with us... If not then it's fine." He smirked. "Guy? Is my baby in love?" I shook my head. "I wouldn't say love... I like him and he always wanted to come to Jamaica." He tapped my shoulder. "I'll see what I can do babydoll."2:00.
Me and Ava were in the pool swimming around when my fathers fiancé Ariana came into the backyard. "Hey loves. I was wondering if you guys wanted to help pick out the diamonds and things for the reception." I nodded and went to go hug my step mom. She was the closest thing I had to a mom and she was so far the best one. "I missed you so much mommy." I kissed her. "This is my best friend I was telling you about." I said pointed at Ava. "Damn you so think girl." She grabbed Ava's ass playfully. They hugged. "Come on novia let's go."
I dressed in my short black dress and Michael Kors heels and put my hair in a tight bun and headed downstairs.
"Awe Ariana!" I covered my mouth. "This is so beautiful I can't believe you did this by yourself." He sucked her teeth. "What do you mean girl? I am a wedding planner." She shrugged. "Can you plan my wedding please this is like some five star shit and a cute little wedding on the beach is my type of shit. I cannot wait to drink this good shit over here." Ava said walking to the wine glasses. "You guys have a lot of seats. Could my friend come?" She nodded her head. "Of course. I don't have much family anyway. These 45 seats are for my friends and my foster mother the rest is for your fathers and uncle Popeye them."
"I miss uncle Popeye." I said rearranging the cups and flowers. "He and his wife are coming tomorrow and they're kids. Us girls are going to get mini and pedis and the guys are doing whatever."
Macdaddy.
I got dressed in my black Adidas shirt and my sweatpants and adidas shoes. I brushed my waves then tied on my durag and headed out the house with my little brother. "So how did your little date go with your girl? You ain't said much about her after." My brother said buckling his seat belt. "I already know you gone roast my ass so I ain't telling you shit." I pushed the button to start the engine and pulled out the driveway. "She was a good digger wasn't she?" He propped his feet up on the dash board. I shook my head. "She ain't like that, she was real cool." He smirked at me."Then why you ain't been calling her? Yeah I be listening by your door, tell me." I sucked my teeth. My brother was noses as hell so I should have known.
