Talk Fast {Jesse Lingard}

    I walked out of the room with tears ready to spill out of my eyes. I was headed for the nearest room I could hide myself in when I saw Dele walking down the hall. His smile dropped when he saw my expression.
    'Woah, is everything alright love?' He asked and I got goosebumps from him calling me love, it's what Jesse calls me.
     'Yeah I just yawned.' I laughed off the tears in my eyes and he just stared at me.
     'Well whatever it is, cause I know it's not yawning, you can talk to me if you want.' He smiled and I returned the favor.
     'Yeah of course.' I said and he pulled my into a hug and I almost burst into tears. I heard someone clearing their throat, and pulled away. Jesse was standing there waiting to get past us because we were in the hallway. He scoffed at Dele and walked towards the living room. Dele was confused and just shook his head.
     'Anyways, I was just leaving and I was coming to say goodbye.' He said and I looked up at him.
    'Thank you for attending this awkward dinner.' I said and he laughed lightly.
    'Was a pleasure, I was hoping we could hang out sometime that won't be awkward?' He scratched the back of his neck and I smiled widely.
    'Of course I'll just give you my number then.' He handed me his phone and he texted my number but my phone was charging.
    'See you later Soleia.' He smiled and I went on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek. His cheeks were light pink when he walked out of the house. I closed the door and plopped myself on the couch next to Marcus. I groaned and he just kept watching the TV.
    'Aren't you going to ask what happened?' I said and he just laughed.
    'Jesse already told me you freaked on him and then hugged Dele. But according to him Dele threw himself on you and it was, in his words, so desperate.' He made air quotes with his hands and I died of laughter.
    'I was just upset and Dele noticed.' I shrugged and Marcus smirked.
     'Yeah that's all?' He said and I shook my head yes. We stayed up almost all night watching re-runs of modern family and laughing until we couldn't breathe.
     'I have class so i'm going to head to bed. Love you rashy.' I smiled walking to my room and he smiled back.
     'Love you too Sol.' He called back. I checked my phone before going to bed to see what Dele had texted me but also saw a text from Jesse. I answered Dele first because I was scared of Jesse's text.

     I smiled at his little smiley face and scrolled to Jesses text, my heart was pounding.

I'm really sorry love. I didn't mean to hurt you and I know I was wrong. I know you probably hate me but I hope we can fix this eventually - Lingard

    I didn't answer because I truly didn't know what to say to him. Even when I hated him his stupid kindness made me forget I was upset. I wasn't angry, just hurt. I wasn't going to cry so I stayed strong and just put my phone down. Hopefully tomorrow would be better.
