We had ended up driving home after getting dinner and it was almost one am as we pulled up to mine and Marcus's apartment. I turned to Jesse and he looked exhausted. I felt pretty worried letting him drive home plus he had some clothes in the guest room he could use.

'Hey why don't you stay over? You look really exhausted.' I suggested and he waved me off.

'I can drive it's only like fifteen minutes.' He yawned right after and I rolled my eyes at him.

'Please stay.' I said and he sighed giving in and parking the car. Once we got inside he went to the guest room and I went to my room to get ready for bed. I threw on some sweatpants and an old t-shirt since it was pretty cold in the rooms. I walked to the guest room to say good night because in all honesty I wanted to kiss Jesse again.

'Hey.' I knocked speaking lowly in order to not wake Marcus. He turned his head to face me. He was wearing basketball shorts and had no shirt on, it's how he slept. I know that because of the countless times he would stay over. He smiled at me walking over and pulling me into a hug. He was so warm it made me never want to let go.

'Came to say goodnight?' He asked looking down at me and I nodded.
'Yeah.' I said and he kissed my forehead.
'Why don't you just stay?' He asked and I shook my head.
'The pillows on this bed suck, I love my bed.' I said letting go and he laughed.
'So then let's go to your bed. It's cold in here.' He rubbed his arms and I rolled my eyes. I know he didn't want to do anything crazy and he just wanted to be with me but he didn't have to make up excuses.
'You have blankets no?' I smirked and he groaned grabbing me and pulling me into him.
'I just want to be with you, now will you say yes and lead me to your cave?' He asked making me confused as to why he called my room a cave.
'What?' I said and he chuckled.
'Rashy calls you dragon and dragons usually live in caves no?' He asked and I just chuckled grabbing his hand and leading him down the hall to my room. I was the last room in the hall, Marcus was the first and the guest room was in the middle. The guest room was the smallest room so that was our reasoning. Marcus got the bigger room because he said he had 'more clothes' so he needed more space for shelves and what not. My room was quaint and nice. It had the bed pushed into the corner of the room resting against the wall on two sides, I had posters of bands and players as well as pictures of friends and family. I was thinking of doing fairy lights but then the trend bored me. My room was yellow but not bright, more like a pastel but not as light. I threw myself on the bed and Jesse laughed standing on the side.

    'What?' I asked confused.
'Nothing, you're just cute.' He shrugged making me turn red.
'Just turn off the light.' I mumbled turning to face the wall and wrapping the covers around me. He closed the door and shut the light before slipping under the covers and pulling me towards him. I rested my head on his chest and my arms around him.
      'Thank you.' He mumbled.
      'For what?'
'Not giving up on me.' He said and I couldn't see his face because the lights were off but I knew he was drifting to sleep.
'I would never.' I smiled and slowly drifted to sleep.

One Week later.

'Okay so I was thinking since it's going to be practically spring when I leave I should get warmer weather clothes but not too warm because you never know. I'll just pack both.' I groaned pacing around my room pulling out random clothing items as Jesse was sitting on the bed watching me panic.
'Whatever you bring you'll look good in.' He said and I rolled my eyes at him. My trip was in just over two months and it seems like a lot of time but I still hadn't bought suitcases and clothing. I also had to figure out how to get a rental car or wing it and use my portuguese and basically fluent spanish for public transportation. I was honestly freaking out and Jesse was just calm and collected, not even helping.
'You're absolutely no help.' I sighed sitting on the edge of my bed putting my head in my hands. The bed shifted and I felt Jesse's lips on my neck and as much as I enjoyed it I was not going to sleep with him for the first time while I was stressed.
'Jess.' I mumbled and he just smiled into my neck kissing upwards all the way to my cheek and turning me to face him.
'We don't have to do anything I just wanna kiss you that's all. You're stressed.' He smirked and I kissed his lips but quickly got up and looked through my closet again to receive a groan from Jesse.
'You only leave in two months can't we just spend time together until then?' He sulked and I just smiled at him from my closet.
'I will spend all the time in the world with you as soon as I figure out what I need to buy and what I don't need to buy for my two months in Spain.' I was standing my ground because the quicker I could get ready the less I would have to worry about and the more time I could spend with Jesse and Marcus before I left.

I had made all my lists and figured out everything I needed just an hour and a half after making Jesse go be with Marcus so I could focus. I was walking to the living room when I over heard them talking and I know snooping is bad but I was interested.
'Do I wish we were having sex? Yeah of course. But everything is her pace you know? I don't wanna mess it up, and I can go as long as she needs.' I heard Jesse's voice and had to hold back my 'aw.'
'Yeah I get it. Lucia is an amazing girl, we've done stuff here and there but I just want it to be right you know? Like totally completely at the right time. I've spoken to Sol about this and she thinks i'm a sweetheart so ya know.' I heard Marcus boast and I rolled my eyes at him.
'Yeah well she thinks i'm hot so I win.' Jesse chuckled and I smiled at his confidence. I stopped listening and decided to make some dinner for the three of us because I felt nice. Once I started cooking the two boys made their way into the kitchen to peak and taste test. We had a long dinner just sitting at the table laughing and just being best friends. I was going to miss this while I was away but I knew that this would benefit my future career and I needed this.

Once we had finished up, we all cleaned up the table and went our separate ways. Marcus wanted to sleep because training had tired him out. Jesse needed to get home because he was also exhausted and I needed to finish up some school work. The next two months were pleasant and I was starting to panic about having to leave, because being on my own in a foreign country was nerve racking even though I was excited.
