THIRD PERSON POV

No one knew what to do. They just stood there. Thor sat crying on the floor, Nebula tried to get a better look at Loki's injuries, and the rest just stood thinking of what they had just witnessed.

"Has anyone guessed how he was different?" Thanos chuckled. Everyone wanted to kill him.

"You're a monster!" Natasha spat. "You manipulate and tortured an innocent person into doing something they did not want to do and you have the audacity to show us, to show Loki's brother!" Natasha was furious. Yesterday she would have never given Loki a chance but now she wanted to protect him. He was a pawn in Thanos' game. Her mother instincts were kicking in.

"Loki is the monster. He even said it himself." Thanos said. Everyone's mind went back to that memory of Loki finding his true parentage. The Avengers and Guardians got into an attack stance. "You should not blame me for Loki's hardship. Loki was treated terribly by Thor and Odin." Everyone turned to Thor, who was still sitting and crying.

"That may be true but you were the one who made him do those terrible things and you made him kill so many innocent lives." Steve spoke up.

"You said you would give Loki back if we guessed how he was different. Stark figured it out. Give me back my brother!" Thor demanded.

"Yes however, Stark never said how he was different so it does not count." Thanos said. Thor gripped his new hammer.

"You-" Natasha started but was hushed by Thanos.

"There is another way you can get your brother back." Thanos said. "One of you must battle one of my children, to the death. If you win, you get Loki. If we win, we keep him. Do you except?"

"Hell yah we except." Tony yelled.

"Choose your warrior." Thanos yelled. The mountains slowly morphed into a coliseum.

"What is this? A video game?" Tony quipped. Thor stepped into the arena and the avengers and guardians were teleported to seats in the first row.

"Who am I fighting?" Thor asked.

"You will be fighting my fiercest warrior and son." Thanos bragged. "You will be fighting my adopted son, Loki!"
