After a long night we saw Harry in the infirmary unconscious. We left when Dumbledore came in to talk to him so we left to wait in the halls. After a while Harry exited the infirmary and walked into the halls. "All right there, Ron?" Harry asked. " All right? You?" Ron said.

"All right. Hermione?" Harry asked. "Never better." Hermione said. "Y/N?" He asked. "I'm great" I said smiling. We walk to the great hall to see who wins the house cup.

All students are seated, and green banners with snakes on them are around the ceiling. Dumbledore, at the head table, nods to McGonagall. She dings her glass and the chatter stops. Dumbledore rises. "Another year gone. And now, as I understand it, the house cup needs awarding, and the points stand thus. In fourth place, Gryffindor with 312 points. Third place, Hufflepuff, with 352 points. In second place, Ravenclaw, with 426 points. And in first place, with 472 points, Slytherin House." Dumbledore said.

There is immense cheering. "Whoo! Yeah!"  Various Slytherins yell. "Nice one, Mate" Draco said. "Yes, yes, well done Slytherin, well done Slytherin. However, recent events must be taken into account. And I have a few last minute points to award.  To Miss Hermione Granger, for the use of cool intellect when others were in great peril, 50 points." Dumbledore said as everyone clapped. "Second, to Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best played game of chess that Hogwarts has seen these many years...50 points. And third, to Mr. Harry Potter, for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house 60 points. And fourth Y/N Riddle for bringing a truce to rivalry 20 points" Dumbledore said.

That's when everyone realized that Gryffindor and Slytherin were tied. "And finally, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award 10 points to Neville Longbottom." Dumbledore said. Immense cheering erupts. Neville is unbelieving, and sits there while cheering gets louder. Draco is downfallen. "Assuming that my calculations are correct, I believe that a change of direction is in order."Dumbledore said.

The green banners change to Gryffindor red and yellow. "Gryffindor wins the House Cup!" He yells. Cheering gets louder by the minute as every Slytherin is sat down. All students stand and throw their hats into the air, except Draco, who smashes his down onto the table. All rub each other's hair and jump around, cheering and laughing.

After Gryffindor's victory I rushed to my friends and gave them a big hug congratulating them on their win. Students are walking around, getting in the train. "Come on now, hurry up. You'll be late. Train's leaving. Go on. Go on. Come on. Hurry up." Hagrid said. Harry hands Hedwig to a train man, and walks to an open door of the train with Hermione. Hermione waves to Hagrid, who waves back.

Hermione gets in the train along with Ron, and Y/N. "Come on, Harry." Hermione said. "One minute" he said walking over to Hagrid. Harry walks away, back to the train door where Hermione and Ron and Y/N are waiting. He walks back with a large book and sets it next to him.

"Is that your parents?" I asked. "Oh, yeah, Hagrid gave it to me" He said showing me the moving picture. They looked so happy holding baby Harry, it's sad that his friend's dad killed his parents but at least they don't know me or accept me so, from everyone else's knowledge I'm a Granger. "Feels strange to be going home, doesn't it?" Hermione said.  "I'm not going home. Not really." Harry said.

The train whistles and sets off for Platform 9 3/4s. Harry waves out the window to Hagrid, who waves back and then waves more to other students. As we go home I realize even if my real parents didn't want me at least some people did.
