"Common, common!" My fists were clenched so tight, my knuckles started to turn white. I was at my boyfriends game, cheering him on for support.
"LET'S GO, ZACH!" I yelled loudly, aware that he couldn't hear me.

Minnesota was currently playing the Montreal Canadians. 3rd period. 6 minutes, counting down. And we were only up by one. Even though we were winning, anything could happen, so I'm always hoping that they won't slack off just because they're winning.

Luckily, the buzzer sang, signaling the end of the game. I smiled to myself, and let out a sigh of relief. These games give me anxiety.

Everybody started to make their way out of the Xcel Energy Center. A few Canadians fans muttered profanities under their breath as they made their way outside.

I started to walk towards the locker room to wait for Zach, showing the security guard my pass along the way.

As each minute passed, I kept getting more impatient. It seemed like every player came out except him. What could he possibly be doing in there?

Soon, the door opened, and as I got excited, it soon faded, realizing it wasn't Zach. Instead, I saw Matt's face appear.

"Hey Matt!" I waved over at him.

"Oh, hey Y/N. What's up?" He smiled.

"I'm actually waiting for Zach, but he's taking forever! What's taking him so long?" I pouted.

After a long pause, he quickly answered. "Oh, I'm not sure. I think he was talking to some reporters."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Really? He's usually never this long.."

He straightened his suit. "I wouldn't worry, he should be out soon anyways. Listen, I got to go. I'll see you soon?"

"Uhh, yeah.. sure." I sighed.

He gave me a small nod, and walked away. A few minutes went by and Zach finally came out.

"Hey babe!" He wrapped his arms around my waist, giving me a huge hug.
"Finally! Why'd you take so long?"

He scratched the back of his neck. "Oh, Jason needed my help with something. No big deal."

I gave him a confused look. I stared at the floor for a few seconds, trying to take in the fact that Matt told me he was talking to reporters, and now Zach just told me he was helping Jason with something. Was he lying to me?

"Babe, are you okay?" He waved his hand in front of my face, to bring me back to the present. "Yeah, I'm just confused. Matt told me you were talking to reporters?"

I looked down to notice he was twiddling with his fingers. He always does that when he's nervous. What's going on?

"Well, I WAS talking to reporters.. then Jason wanted me to help him with something." He said hesitantly.

"You seem.. hesitant. Are you lying to me? Babe, please. I don't want any lying in this relationship.."

He slung his arm around my shoulder. "No no! Of course not. You have nothing to worry about, okay?" He slowly lifted my chin giving me a small peck on the nose. I sighed and nodded. "Great, let's go get something to eat. Hockey makes me hungry!"

"BABE! ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING?" I yelled at Zach, who was all the way downstairs getting ready for hockey. He was running a little late due to traffic on the way home from visiting my parents. I walked downstairs, only to see him running around from the bathroom, to the garage, to the living room.
