Jin's pov:

The airport was crowded and huge. I felt suffocated as we ran through the mass of people, trying to find a free spot to give up our luggage and get our boarding passes.

I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry.

We were protected by a swarm of bodyguards, some of them were nice enough to help us with our baggage because I and Namjoon had our hands full with our kids. I loved them, but at occasions like this, it was almost unbearable.

Kookie was screaming and nothing would calm him down. He was scared of the new place, scared of all the people and not well rested.

Jimin clutched my hand tightly also afraid but also trying his hardest not to cry and cheer his little brother up.

While I had to deal with two really fussy and scared kids, Namjoon had a whole other problem.

Taehyung was excited.

Overly excited. He squirmed in the hold of his dad, pointing at people, babbling nonsense, trying to get down and explore on his own. For him, this was the biggest adventure ever.

For me and Namjoon, it was a nightmare.

The only good thing was, we were too focused on our kids, to notice all the stares and whispers around us.

Yoongi was running behind his dad, clutching the fabric of his jacket in a tight grip.

This whole thing didn't make his social phobia any better. The poor boy was totally overwhelmed and his eyes darted around nonstop, observing everything anxiously and startling every time someone came too close. I could tell he hated it.

Hoseok, on the other hand, awed at the bodyguards. He thought they were really cool.

One of them was kind enough to hold his hand after the boy refused to take his daddy's.

He was asking the man a thousand questions, telling him stories and I bet the bodyguard was an expert on the Kim Namjoon family after this job.

Hoseok told him everything. The ages of his brothers, how his Eomma suddenly disappeared and that he and Tae thought that she was aborted from aliens because she was so pretty.

Then he told the man, that he was really afraid, that the aliens would abort me and Tae too because we are pretty too.

Funnily enough, he thought the bodyguards were there for that exact reason. To keep us safe from the aliens. He promised them, that he would help them if this would happen.

The bodyguard, named Suho, just had a kind and amused smile on his face and played along with the kid. It was cute.

Normally one thought of bodyguards as cold, indifferent, buff guys who ran around coolly without showing emotions and wearing dark sunglasses.

Suho wasn't like that. Sure, he had a load of muscles, but they looked rather lean. He didn't wear sunglasses, but a black suit. He was really nice.

Finally, our luggage went to the airplane itself and we could board.

Normally, I would have been sad and really dramatic about leaving my country without a limitation set to it. Normally, I would think of my mom and get nostalgic and sad. Her words really hurt me and left a scar on my soul.

I don't think I can ever see her in the same light again. And I definitely was offended. This would never heal and I know, I could forgive her, but my trust, she had to earn again.
