Chapter 13 - The Kiss

Mia's P.O.V.

I ran to her and gave her a gentle hug. I felt like It was my fault for leaving her all alone. I shouldn't have left. It's all my fault.

If I didn't leave her with Leon, then this wouldn't have happened. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't realise that I was crying until Axel wiped away my tears.

I raised my head to see that I was sitting on Axel's lap with Olivia squeezing my hand for comfort. "Mia don't cry. It's not your fault"

"It is my fault, I shouldn't have left you"

"Mia, I was attacked, if you were there maybe you would have lost the child" she weakly stated. She mouthed an apology for mentioning the pregnancy in Axel's presence.

"it's fine Olivia, Axel already knows I'm pregnancy"

"Oh, you're right but who could have done it?"

"Maybe David" Axel jived. Olivia flinched at the sound of his name.

"it is him" I growled out. This pesky bitch needs to bug off for Christ sake!

"Yes, it is but before you do anything stupid, he said if I tell the police it was him who did it, then he'll kill you and your baby and even Axel and who the hell is That by the way?"

"This is Axel" I sighed knowing the amount of trouble I've put him in.

"Oh, so you're the guy who's got my best friend drooling over you." She and Axel laughed, and I blushed. Immediately the door opened, and a small head came through.

"Excuse me, visiting hours will be expired in the next five minutes, please be aware that if you do not take heed to my words, you are entitled to prosecution or even jail time" She said in a robotic tone as if she had said it for the millionth time.

"Okay we'll be out in 2 minutes" I said as she closed the door. Damn! Why does this hospital have to be so strict? ☹☹.

"In case you were wondering why she said that, it's because many people hide in the patient's rooms during the time when visiting hours are long gone and steal equipment or even food from the hospital" Axel Told me.

"And how did you know that?" I smiled at him.

"Because I was a victim of the terrible act" He said in a plain and bored tone. He then lifted his shirt.

"You see this" he said pointed to a dark spot on his very muscular physique, those sexy abs and--- back to the dark spot part- that was on his tummy, it has stitch marks. "I was shot in the hospital" he sighed.

"I'm so sorry I brought that up" I apologized.

"It's fine, besides I got over that three hours ago" he smiled at me.

"Sorry to rain on your parade but it's time to go" Olivia laughed at us.

"Bye Livy bear" I said as I walked up to her and kissed her on her forehead.

"Bye Mia, visit soon" she smiled.

"I will" I replied blowing her a kiss and closing the door.

Axel pinned me against the wall beside the Olivia's room door with my two hands over my head and his free hand playing in my hair , the hallways were empty which was easier for him to get away with what he was going to do to me.

I looked him in the eyes and all I saw was greed. I turned my face away from his. He twisted it to for me to look at him.

"I've been waiting for this to happen in a very long time Mia" he said making me cry.

"What's wrong Baby, I was just gonna kiss you. But if you have a problem I'll back off"

"So why did you look at me that way "I asked wiping away the tears from my cheek.

"What way?" He scratched his hair.

"Like you wanted to rape me"

"I would never do that to anyone especially not to you. I just craved you from the first day I bumped into you and I wanted to taste those lips and I did...But I want more" He replied before he kissed me hungrily and for the first time, I kissed him back"

"I Love you" He said breaking the kiss.

"I Love you too Axel" I said before walking down the empty hallways and out the door where we sped down the street to his house, he thinks that David will come back for me, so I'll be staying with him for a while.
