Chapter 14 - Too Late

Mia's P.O.V.

I wonder if Leon's still there. Axel pulls up on the sidewalk. I waved goodbye as I watch him drive down the street after blowing me a kiss.

I knock on the door but there was no answer. I took out my keys and unlocked the door.

"Olivia! anybody home?" I said placing the phone on the bed.

"Mi-Mi-Mia" I heard a weak voice.

"Oh my god!"

"Please call the ambulance" she gasped for air, her hands were full of blood and so were her clothes along with the floor.

I swiftly run to the bed and knelt down, I grabbed the phone and dialled 911 as my bloody thumbs trembled in shock while caressing the white screen.

"911 what's your emergency" said the operator.

"My friend, she's beaten up badly and I need an ambulance"

"I understand that you live at...13 Applewhite street"

"Yes!" I panted.

"An ambulance is on its way, Don't Panic and try to keep your friend as calm as possible" She assured me.

"Ok, thank you"

I hung up and put the phone aside as I cradled Olivia in hopes that it would calm her down.

A few minutes had passed, and I could already hear the faint sounds of the ambulance, I lifted Olivia from off the floor and brought her out on the street. There, I saw the ambulance pull up and men jumping out of the medium. They took her from me and placed her in the van.

"Ma'am, you'll have to take another transport to the Metropolis General Hospital since ours is full" A tall man said.

"Okay, I'll soon be there Olivia" I whispered to myself.
