The Boy of the Ocean - Klance

Chapter 14

Lances eyes opened only a tiny bit. He felt someone holding him tightly. He turned his eyes to see Keith. Keith then turned to Lance who shut his eyes. He then felt something soft on his lips. It lingered there for a little while until Lance realized what it was... Keith had kissed him. Lance tried to tell Keith that he was awake but his exhaustion took over him. His eyes started to close, but he felt Keith hold him tighter as he started to drift off to sleep.

The carriages arrived back to the town in record time. Of course when everyone finally got back there was a big celebration. It was filled with food, drinks, and many gifts for Pidge, Hunk, and Keith. However, while everyone else was enjoying the party, Keith sat next to Lance who has still not fully awaken. He has only waken up a couple of times but most of the time his eyes are shut. Keith, who now knows that he loves Lance, usually shuts himself inside the room to watch over him. Keith's papa worried but he trusted Keith to take care of himself. 

Lance was sitting on a rock. Waves crashed around him as he sat silently. Lance missed Keith. He missed Pidge. He missed Hunk. But most of all... he missed the ocean. The real ocean. Lance knew that this was not it. He was trapped somewhere, but were? Soon the waves stopped, the dark inky clouds from above started to clear. The sun shined through and the ocean became still. Like a lake. Lance then felt tired. He closed his eyes and drifted off into sleep. 

Keith held Lance's hand. He has sat there for at least a few days and hasn't eaten much since. "Keith, you should eat", Kieth heard his papa say. Keith turned around to see his papa holding a bowl of soup and a glass of water. "Okay", Keith muttered out. He got up and grabbed the food. He then rushed back to Lance's side. "I love you Keith", his papa said. Keith turned back to him, a smile on his face. "I love you too", Keith responded. His papa nodded and closed the door. Keith then turned back to be meet with blue orbs for eyes. "Hi Keith", Lance whispered. Keith set down his food on the floor. Before Lance could react he dove into the bed and hugged Lance. Once they broke apart Keith stared at Lance. "Don't you ever do that again", Keith said, his voice almost breaking. Lance nodded quickly. He then hugged Keith again. And of course Keith hugged back. 

"The army is ready sire", the lead soldier said as the army stopped on a hill that overlooked the small village. "Good, we wait until sunset", Lotor said. "Then we attack. Got it?", Lotor said. The man nodded quickly and scurried back to his men. Lotor stared at the sun as it went down. He then looked back down at the village. He smirked. "Enjoy your last night", Lotor whispered to himself. Evil encased in his eyes.
