The Boy of the Ocean - Klance

Chapter 11

Lance screamed and yelled as he was pushed into the carriage. Trying to make it as chaotic as possible. "SHUT UP!", one of the guards yelled as they pushed  Lance inside, along with all the other women and children. Once Lance was inside the carriage they slammed the door. Many people jumped at the sound but most bit there lips. Lance then sat on the ground, waiting for what would happen next.

Keith watched as the carriage drove away with Lance inside. " Do you think he will be okay?", Pidge asked once the soldiers walked back to there post. " I am sure. But now we just need to figure out how to get inside the castle", Keith explained and pointed at the tall building in the middle of the town. " How are we going to get in?", Hunk asked as he gulped. "Easy", Keith replied. He then pulled out a paper from the many pockets he had in his pants. Pidge stared at it and Hunk tilted his head.

ROYAL PALACE IN NEED OF CHIEF, MAID, AND SOLDIER. YOU WILL BE PAID HANDSOMELY AND WILL BE GIVEN LIVNG QUARTERS BY THE KING HIMSELF. SHOW UP IN FRONT OF THE GATES AT THE MAIN PALACE TO BE TESTED FOR YOUR LINE OF DUTY. AND IF YOU WERE FIRED WE DO NOT WANT YOU BACK.

Pidge looked at Keith. " So you are going to be a maid?", Pidge asked Keith who laughed. "Nah I was going to go for the knight", Keith responded. "Then I will be the chief", Hunk said. Pidge sighed. "If I am the maid I am hoping I can get some good money out of this....", Pidge muttered. "Come on! We need to get to the palace", Keith said. The other two nodded as they got up from there hiding place. They then started to sprint towards the palace that was laced with pearl stone and golden statues.

Lance sat there as he heard the rest of the people cry. It was mostly women and no sign of men so this probably isn't the people Keith was looking for. Keith6 said that men were only taken from his village. No women. "I hate this...", Lance heard someone behind him say. Lance sighed. He hated this too. Lance looked out the window, which before surprised him since the carriage looked like it could shatter any second. He watched as the carriage rushed down the street towards the castle. He watched as the soldiers ran over and yanked open the doors. He watched as they started to pull everyone out. "Hey you get out", Lance heard one of the soldiers say. "Yes sir", Lance responded in a monotone voice. Lance then started to climb out. He was then met with chains and shackles and lines of women chained together. Lance bit his lip, trying hard not to do anything. He needed to find Keith's dad and everyone else. The line stood there for a little while until another old carriage pulled up next to us. Lance looked over, his eyes then went a little wider. There, in that carriage, came out men. Beaten by the looks of it. Most of them had here clothes ripped or torn in a way. Some had some bruises on there face while others had busted lips. Lance then felt his chains being pulled on. He sighed and walked along with the line of miserable women.

I know this one is short but let's just say that someone we know is going to show up in maybe the next chapter...
