2 weeks later.
Erika POV
Today is my due date. Hopefully this baby will be born today. They put me on bed rest so now I can't do anything. Jake has been a really good boyfriend. He has packed all the hospital bags and gets me whatever I want. He still works out because he said he wanted to look good for me but I think he already looks good. I felt something wet go down my leg. I didn't have to pee. What could it be. OMG MY WATER BROKE.
Erika:JAKEY GET UP HERE KNOW.
Jake ran upstairs
Jake:what.
Erika:my water broke.
Jake:um okay come on.
Jake helped Erika up and grabbed all the bad and the car seat. He helped Erika in the car then put everything in the car. He drove quickly to the hospital.
Jake POV
HOLY SHIT IM ABOUT TO BE A FATHER. It was different knowing the baby was in Erika. Know it's about to be born. OMG.
They pulled up to the hospital and the doctor brought them to a room. Jake put everything and went to the bathroom closed the door and threw up. He flushed it wiped his mouth and walked out.
Erika:hey jakey.
Jake:hey baby.
Erika:the doctor said I'm 7 centimeters dilated so that means 3 more to go so help me up.
Jake:why.
Erika:we're going on a walk.
Jake:okay.
Jake helped her up and they started to walk around the hospital after about 10 minutes Erika's contractions got from 9 minutes apart to 5 minutes apart.
Erika:omg let's go back.
Jake:okay.
Erika squeezed jakes hand. Jake picked up Erika and walked back to the room then set Erika down. The doctor came in.
Dr.wells:hey Jake hey Erika.
Erika:hI *erika squeezed jakes arm*
The doctor does his thing
Dr.wells:Erika looks like your 10 centimeters dilated.
Erika:what does that mean.
Dr.wells:your about to give birth to a little girl.
Jake:omg I'm about to be a father it's becoming real.
Erika:it's always been real.
Jake:it was different when you were pregnant she was inside of you but now she is gonna be outside of you.
Erika:either be in here or not because the baby is coming.
Jake:I kinda put you in here so I'll stay.
Erika:good choice.
Erika grabbed jakes arm while pushing and dug her nails into his skin.
Jake:ow Erika.
Erika:deal with it you put me here your the only reason I'm doing this if I could go back I would put a condom on you.
Jake:oh you don't want the baby okay.
Tears fall down jakes face. Erika grabs jakes arm and digs her nails into it more. Jake starts bleeding really bad. The baby was born and Erika starts holding her.
Nurse Jackie:Jake can I talk to you.
Jake:um sure.
Jake grabs his arm and walks out.
Jake:what's wrong.
Nurse Jackie:sit on this table.
Jake:okay.
The table Jake was sitting on Erika could see him.
Nurse Jackie:I'm gonna give you stitches.
Jackie pins jakes arm down and was about to stitch him up. Jake pulls his arm up.
Jake:um don't do that I'm fine.
Nurse Jackie:we have too jake.
Jake:okay.
Jake gives her back his arm and closed this eyes and squeezed the stress ball.
Jake:fuck fuck fuck.
Nurse Jackie:almost done.
She finishes.
Nurse Jackie:there you go.
Jake:omg it's over.
Nurse Jackie:I'm just gonna put a bandage around it then you can go into the bathroom and wash your hand that has blood on it.
Jake:okay
Jake walked back into the room and did what she said the walked over to get a towel. He went to walk out the bathroom when he saw Cameron holding Eva. He walked back into the bathroom and sat in the corner. Anthony walked in the bathroom.
Anthony:jake what's wrong.
Jake:the baby always thinks the first man to hold her is her father and the first girl is her mom.
Anthony:but you already held Eva.
Jake:no I didn't I had to get stitches because Erika dug her nails into my skin. She isn't gonna think I'm her dad.
Anthony:just go talk to Tessa she always knows what to do.
Jake:send her in here.
Anthony:okay.
Tessa walks in the bathroom and Jake was crying in the corner.
Tessa:jake are you okay.
Jake:no Eva is gonna think Cameron is her dad.
Tessa:why.
Jake:I walked in there and he was holding her and her eyes were open that means that was the first man she saw and that's the man she thinks is her dad.
Tessa:you haven't held her yet.
Jake:no I had to get stitches because Erika dug her nails into my skin.
Tessa sits beside Jake and hugs him.
Tessa:I'm sorry bro.
Jake:it's okay. Just my child thinks another man is her dad.
Tessa:look maybe she knows who you are and doesn't think that.
Jake:idk but can you help me with this bandage.
Tessa:ya.
Erika POV
Jake was getting something from the nurse when everyone walked in. I was waiting for Jake to hold Eva when Cameron picked her up and held her. I saw Jake walk in and just walk to the bathroom but then he walked back out looked over at Cameron and went back in and shot the door. I looked at Eva and her eyes were open. Omg he probably read about the first man a baby sees is who they think is there dad. Cameron was the first one. I saw that when Tessa went in there she didn't shut the door. I saw Jake stand up and sit on the toilet as Tessa took a bandage off his arm. I saw tears run down his face as she did it.
Jake:ow Tessa stop stop that hurts.
Tessa:we have to.
Jake:okay just I need a water.
Tessa:okay.
Jake walked out and the bandage was half off and you could see his stitches. Anthony walked up to him and pulled it all the way off.
