Over the next couple of weeks, Ben, with the help of Mal, have been sorting and signing through papers, answering the press, and they've just finished a council meeting. The meeting held what sort of punishment that Chloe and Richard should recieve. The council wasn't able to decide, most likely due to the fact that their attention was focused more on Ben and Mal's personal life. But once the couple had gotten back to Ben's office, they were finally able to think of something. Or, more like, Mal thought of something.
"-Mal you know we can't do that! Maybe we should just think of something else like-"
"Ben I'm telling you. This is the right punishment for them. At least think about it. Chloe and Richard have acted way more villainous and evil than any of us from the Isle have ever acted in the past, what, 6 years?! If they're going to act like villains, then they should be banished to where the villains live!"
Ben still seemed doubtful, but as soon as Mal used the puppy dog eyes with the lip pucker, he couldn't resist not agreeing with her. She was, in a way, right though. Ben closed his eyes and sighed. Mal squealed and kissed him on the cheek, knowing she had won. Ben opened his eyes and smiled at her, gripping a hand on her waist and bringing her closer to him, and as she sat on his lap, he smiled at her once again.
"You're cute when you squeal you know that?" He rubbed their noses together with a smile still wide on his face. "Mmh, I love you" he hummed to her.
Mal hesitated to say back, scared to trust someone fully, to fully open up and allow herself to feel and be vulnerable. But this was Ben she was being vulnerable with. The man that she had revealed everything to. Trusted everything with. If there was one person she could trust everything and anything with (besides Evie and Jay and Carlos of course, but they're different) it would be Ben.
She smiled back at him, looking lovestruck, and with a full kiss on the lips, she told him: "I love you too" • • • • • "Ben, Mal, are you absolutely, positively sure that this is what you choose as punishment for them?" Ben father questioned. This was the third time he had, but he needed to make sure the couple wouldn't do anything they'd regret.
"Yes dad. For the last time, Mal and I have already decided that this what we're going to give them." Adam nodded.
They had just finished a council meeting, with Ben and Mal announcing to the council of their decision. A few of the members were hesitant, but after Mal explained what Chloe and Richard's crime were, the council agreed. They did not want what happened to Mal or Ben to happen ever again. • • • • • "-We hereby decree that Chloe, daughter of Snow White, and Richard, nephew of King Beast, be banished to the Isle of the Lost for 5 years for their crimes and punishment." Ben finished his announcement.
"Wh-what!? Ben you can't do that!" Richard cried out.
"I'm afraid he can" Mal told him with glowing eyes and a straight face.
"Ben please don't do this! We- we promise! We'll leave you two alone! W-we can move away! Ben please.." Chloe begged. Ben simply ignored her and ordered for the guards to take them away. Once they were out of sight, Ben turned to Mal.
"They're gone now. And I promise you, nobody is going to bother us anymore" and that was a promise he intended to keep, as they sealed it with a kiss.
