     Keith didn't want to pick up his phone because he just didn't want to. He didn't want to get close to Lance. He's always scared that the if he gets close to anyone, he'll hurt them. He didn't even wanna be Shiro's friend or Pidge's friend or friends with any of them. They all just came to him.

RING!

RING!

     Keith picked up his phone thinking it was Pidge because she's the only person who ever calls him. "Hello?" Keith mumbled.

     "Keith!" A unfamiliar voice shouted at the phone.

     "Uhhh...wait." Keith checked who it was...Lance..

     "Lance, what are you doing?" Keith sighed.

     "Ugh, your voice is boring, Pidge was right!" Keith heard him laugh behind the phone.

     "And your voice is annoying, I guess she was right about both of those!" Keith heard Lance scoff at his remark.

     "Excuse me, I have a lovely voice!" Keith rolled his eyes.

     "Don't be so sure, I don't know how your ears don't bleed just hearing your voice." Keith laughed to himself.

     "You are a very mean man! Jeez! Anyways, answer your texts! This phone call his awkward..."

    "Fine." Keith hung up and went to his texts.

Keith: What do you want

Lance: Where do you live?

Keith: Um..creep much?

Lance: Well you know I live in Cuba, sooo where do you live?

Keith: Fair enough. Arizona.

Lance: Oh! That's cool! I wish I could go!

Keith: Yea? Well you should give up on that wish because Arizona actually sucks.

Lance: Well, I didn't wanna go to Arizona specifically, just out of Cuba. I mean Cuba is cool and all, but sometimes I wanna escape.

Keith: Why don't you escape then?

Lance: Money

Keith: Oh

Lance: Yeah, it sucks

Lance: Buuuuut I always have youtube videos to "feel the experience" or something I dunno

Keith: That's really sad, hey I gotta work. Bye!

     "Hey Shiro, what was Japan like?" Keith leaned back on a counter. Shiro shrugged and began popping popcorn. "I was only there until I was about 15 and I visited America more than I really lived there, so I don't remember much. I remember it being extremely beautiful, I guess. Why the sudden interest?" Shiro turned to Keith and rose an eyebrow.

"Just wondering." Keith actually wanted to know because Shiro is the only person he knew who wasn't born in America, other than Lance. "If you could go back, would you?" Shiro laughed at the question and shook his head. "I really like it here...it's just more chill, I guess."

Keith smirked and leaned into Shiro's ear. "Not even for...Adammmm?" Shiro's face turned rose red at the mention of the name and he cleared his throat. "Adam was just a silly teen crush..." Shiro scratched the back of his head nervously. "Uh huh, your Facebook says otherwise!" When Shiro turned around, Keith had his phone in his hand.
